Lavaclan Forest

IC-Soulkit took a few steps back before launching through the air and landing besides his sisters. "Well, that was fun!" exclaimed Soulkit as his voice echoed throughout the cave.

Hazekit shivered as she cautiously walked forward into the cave.

Wildkit narrowed her eyes into the darkness and stepped ahead.

After taking a couple steps into the darkness, the air became musty and damp. Suddenly, Hazekit stopped dead in her tracks.

Miragekit shot her siblings a glare before bounding up to the ledge. She followed her siblings, but almost bumped into Soulkit. "What?" She whispered.

"Do you guys hear that..." Hazekit whispered quietly.

"You mean an injured kits wail? No! Of course not." said Soulkit sarcastically.

Sensing danger, Wildkit's mood immediately switched. "Soulkit, stop. This cat could be in danger. You stay by the entrance to call us back so we don't get lost. Hazekit, you come with me, Mirage, stick with Soulkit." Venturing into the deep of the cave, Hazekit slowly followed her sister.

Miragekit humphed. Just her luck that she was stuck with Soulkit.

Soulkit humphed. Just his luck that he was stuck with Miragekit.

Hazekit sniffed the air and peered into the darkness. After a moment, with a gasp, she pitched herself forward, heading towards a still form.

Wildkit knew what it was the moment her sister ran towards the body. "Miragekit! Soulkit! Get help now!" She ordered.

"Wha? Uhh! Okay!" cried Soulkit as he jumped and then ran out of the cave. He didn't even bother to think of the trouble they would get into if they saved a cats life!

Miragekit overtook her brother as she dashed to camp. "Helllp!" She shrieked.

Nightkit was spent. There was nothing to keep him living. He thought he could barely make out a green, shining meadow in his head, instead of the damp, hard, and cold surface of the cave.

Hazekit strode forward, sniffing all over the kit. He was about their age, but close to death."It's okay, you'll be okay..." She crooned softly, her golden amber fur dimly lit by the light coming from the entrance to the cave, but her turquoise eyes bright and soft.

Miragekit shot into the cave. "Ivo-" Miragekit announced, then stopped. "Sorry." She whispered. "That lazy, no good medicine cat who has nothing better to do than snap at kits is coming to save that... Kit up there."

"I'm here!" announced Ivoryfang as she glared at Miragekit "You have no idea what it is like to be a medicine cat, so just shut your mouth and tell me where the kit is!" she spat. She was just really freaking out right now. She had never had much experienceish with kits....

Soulkit sat behind Ivoryfang, watching her. He really had no idea what to do.

"Really? And not all cats are fit to be warriors!" Miragekit spat back. Where that came from, she didn't know because she wanted to become a warrior.

ooc: And then she almost dies, blah blah blah, and becomes a medicine cat.

ic: "The kit's there." She mewed more quietly, pointing with her tail.

Ivoryfang examined the kit. (What is wrong with him? Sickness? Wounds?)

OOC-Maybe if Night is sick with fever, he could spread round the clan!
Plot idea! lol

Wildkit stood up, her fur bristling and claws extended. "For the love of Starclan, how old are you two? 4 moons? Ivoryfang take care of this kit, and Miragekit, shut. Up!" She hissed, her voice echoing through the cave.

After a moment of silence, Hazekit stood up from beside the kit. "Wildkit, calm yourself. Ivoryfang may be lazy but she knows how to do his job. You three go back to camp and get another warrior. I'll stay here with them."

"No." Wildkit countered. "Mirage, I know you have some herb knowledge, try and help Ivoryfang. This is a kit, things are different. Soulkit and I will go back and get help." With that, she left the cave, nodding to Soulkit to follow her.

OOC-Btw, Ivory is a female. Lol. Oh and lets Chat!

IC-Ivoryfang examined the kit. (I am just going to make it up, if that is okay?) There seemed to be nothing wrong with him, yet when she felt him, he felt very hot. "He must have fever...." said Ivoryfang. It was hard to tell which type, since he was barely moving, but if she had to guess it was either Bluefever or Purplefever. Luckily, she had brought some herbs that would momentarily calm him down. Quickly she opened his mouth a stuff of poultice of heather, feverfew, chamomile, poppy seeds, and thyme. The poultice would help reduce his body temperatrue, make him feel stronger and more calm. Hopefully, they weren't too late.
"Done. We need to bring him back to my den, though so I can administer more herbs to heal him." she said as she bent down, and picked up Nightkit by the scruff. She then quickly darted out of the cave.

"I guess we are suppose to follow her." said Soulkit as he quickly followed Ivoryfang back to camp.

Hazekit and Wildkit ran after the Medicine cat.

"Okay, okay!" Miragekit muttered under her breath.

Clearpaw sniffed at some berries. Hmmmm... She smiles to herself. Jupiner berries.

Clearpaw gathered up the berries and started heading back to the camp.

Silvershadow padded through the forest, trying to be as quiet as possible. Even if he was caught, he could also make up a lie. And even if they did find out why he was REALLY out here, they wouldn't really care since it happened so many times, over and over again between Oceanclan and Lavaclan. Actually, Silvershadow even had a cousin in Oceanclan, by the name of Oceanstorm. He was the deputy and they had were friends through gatherings. He had also been close to Oceanstorm's older brother, before he had died, that is...

Mistypaw trampled through the forest scaring every bit of prey in sight hiding. She stopped and sniffed the warm, musty forest scents. Ahhh, she thought. This is the life for me! .

Dragonblaze padded slowly and quietly after her. "Great job!" he praised Mistypaw. "Keep it up and you will catch no prey in no time!"
He then shook his head and said "You need to be more quiet. Quiet and slow. That way the prey won't hear you. Look, watch what I am doing and follow my example, okay?" said Dragonblaze as he crouched down into the hunting position, his tail down. "See?" he said. "This is the proper way to hunt prey in the forest. In the open...ehh its different. I like hunting in the forest though. A lot more fun! Anyway, try this move and use to try and catch some prey, okay?" said the caring mentor.

Clearpaw walked through the forest looking for lavender and Silvershadow. Hmmm... She thought. where would be the best place for looking for lavender?

Mistypaw cursed under her breath. She felt so stupid and her fur grew hot in embarrassment. She mimicked Dragonblaze and spotted a mouse nibbling on a seed a few tail lengths away. She nodded her head towards it questioning Dragonblaze.

Dragonblaze nodded his head toward the mouse, encouraging his apprentice to catch it.
Just then, a loud noise was heard all throughout the Forest. It was like some cat crashing through the woods, not even caring to be quiet! Plus he was yowling about some nonsense. Dragonblaze sighed as the mouse ran away. Now who was that?
Silvershadow barged in where Dragonblaze and Mistypaw were. "Hey guys!" he exclaimed. "I was at Oceanclan, I will tell you why later, and Sunclan stole some of Oceanclan's territory! We gotta do something! Stat!" he yowled, sending birds scattering from the trees as he ran off to the Lavaclan Camp.
"Oh, I see." said Dragonblaze. He looked at Mistypaw at said "Hunting is off, we can do it later. Right now we need to get back to camp. If you want, though, you can attempt to catch another mouse, but with all that ruckus Silvershadow made, I don't think you will have much luck. Even his snoring can send the prey running for the hills!" he chuckled. "Maybe, though, you can head to the Training Hollow and tell the cats their of these developments and to report back to the camp, stat. Okay? Okay! Bye!" said Dragonblaze as he raced (quietly) after Silvershadow.

In the shadows, a night black cat sighed gently.

Mistypaw looked around her carefully and then raced off towards the training hollow.

Icestar pelted through the forest, itching to get back to the Camp as soon as he could so he could talk about Sunclan with the other members of the clan. He wondered, if his mate Forestwing was okay. So far though, it sounded like Sunclan had only stolen territory from them, but he knew that Oceanclan would eventually respond to the stealing and they would attack. But would his mate and kits be safe?
Bubblefrost ran behind Icestar, enjoying the wind in is fur as he ran through the forest. It felt great!
Soulpaw was somewhat scared and excited. If there was a war, he and the other apprentices would have to fight and he could prove himself a powerful and meaningful addition to his clan! Hey, he could even be made a warrior once the war was over!

Clearpaw heard Silvershadow and some other cats and ran off after them towards the camp.

Hazepaw padded with Fallendawn heading towards the training den.

IC-Ivoryfang walked out of the camp, and began to look for some herbs. They were going to need a lot for this upcoming war...

Clearpaw followed behind Ivoryfang. "What are we looking for exactly?" She asked.

"Any herbs that we can find...like this!" she said as she reached down and picked up a herb. "This is chervil. Now tell me, what does it do?"

Fallendawn glanced back to make sure Hazepaw was following, and then started to jog to the Training Hollow. "Hi!" she shouted as she trotted past Clearpaw and Ivoryfang.

Hazepaw smiled and padded on, her waving, golden red coat darkening and her dark paws blending into the earth.

Fallendawn raced past the trees, yellow flecks of sunlight from the treetops dappling her fur. She reached the Training Hollow, but waited impatiently outside for her apprentice to catch up.

"Uh...." Clearpaw said thinking. "I don't remember..."

"Come on Clearpaw, get with the program! Chervil leaves heal infected wounds, while their roots heal bellyaches. Now you go find a herb and tell me what it is and what it does, okay?" said an irratated Ivoryfang as she looked away from Clearpaw and at a tree.

Clearpaw looked down at the ground ashamed that she couldn't remember what chevil did and sad that she had irratated her mentor. "Okay..." She mumbled and walked off into the trees to look for another herb.

Clearpaw walked for a long time looking for herbs. She stopped and looked around. Where is Ivoryfang? She wondered.

Clearpaw walked through ferns looking for other herbs. She sniffed quietly and picked up the scent of something. Lavendar! She ran to find the rare herb and found it hiding at the base of a tree, almost hidden from view. This is great! She thought. Ivoryfang will be so proud of me! She picked some of it and started heading back towards the camp. Lavendar cures fevers and chills. She remembered as she walked back towards the camp.

Silvershadow walked right past Clearpaw, barely even noticing her, as he followed Icestar.
Dragonblaze trailed close behind, followed by Plumpetal, who was anchored by Jynxwish.

OOC-This reminds of when in a show a huge stampede of dinorsaurs came rushing past and the humans were just like O.O

ooc: ...what?

ic: Bluepaw followed his mentor sullenly. He nodded to Clearpaw as they walked past, wondering what she was doing. Then he turned his thoughts to the upcoming battle.

Birchflame padded silently behind Jynxwish, purring in delight. He almost stumbled into Clearpaw, but managed to right his paws just in time. "Sorry!" he said.

Since all the cats, like the dinosaurs, completely ignored Clearpaw while she saw them and watched them and they didn't even care.

Oceanclan Beach

ooc: but dinosaurs weren't alive when humans were....

ic: Bluepaw walked to the OceanClan beach. He wondered if his siblings, Greenpaw and Redpaw, were going to the battle too.

Redpaw walked proudly with the battle patrol. He spotted Bluepaw and usually would have stuck his nose up, but he was too excited. He ran over to his brother.
Bluepaw glanced at Redpaw. "Where's Bubblefrost?" he asked. And then Redpaw noticed...

Clearpaw walked by all of them silently and watched the ground in front of her paws as she walked.
