Lavaclan Forest

Greenkit was frustrated and scared, stuck in a tree with a few other cats in her clan, a mystery kit, and two huge talking parrots. so, what would a frightened kit do in her position? Exactly what is thought to do: Summon up courage for an escape. She didn't comprehend that the parrots were trying to help and teach, because all greenkit wanted to do was get back to her clan.

Silverkit blinked. He liked learning what the parrots taught and becoming stronger, but he needed to get back to his dad. he didn't know why, or where his father was.

Embersong raced around the forest, frantically looking for the lost Greenkit.

Iceheart panted. He thought he had got on Greenkit's scent trail, but no, apparently he was wrong. But he did remember something about a big tree...

Plumpaw shrieked for help "EMBERSONG! ICEHEART! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!?"

Embersong froze as she heard some cat shriek her name. "I'm comingg!!!!!!!" she yowled as she sprinted towards the noise. She raced past trees and rocks and little streams until she came to the foot of a huge tree.....and didn't know where to go from there.

Greenkit came up with an idea. With a gulp, she grabbed Silverkit with her tail and flung herself out of the nest!

Silverkit waved good-bye to the parrots as he fell.

......and the two landed on the tree branch sides out of the nest. The high height sent Greenkit screaming again.

"What about me?" yelled Plumpaw. Then she realized what to do She grabbed Burntpaw and dragged each other out of the nest. They then fell to the ground.

"See ya next time!" cried Crackers and he and Polly flew away, making it rain feathers.

"Hey...wait...we're still up here!" Greenkit shrieked.
Silverkit shrugged, tipped forward, and they plummeted to the ground.

Embersong ran around frantically trying to catch them somehow, and managed to break their fall as they fell on top of her, knocking Embersong to the ground. When, she recovered, she immediately starting angrily grooming Greenkit. "What were you thinking?! we were so worried! And hey...who's this kit?" she asked, pointing to Silverkit. He blinked.

"No need to fret, Embersong. I had everything under control." said Plumpaw, bravely. She was hoping Embersong would buy and save the trouble...of getting in trouble.

Burntpaw is unconscious....I think.

Embersong turned angrily on Plumpaw and Burntpaw. "I know you two are responsible and trustworthy, but you still made everyone in the clan worry to death about you guys!" She sagged suddenly. "I am so glad no one got hurt....wait a second, is that Burntpaw lying over there?"

"What happened?" Iceheart panted as he caught up with everyone. "Oh, Greenkit! But who's that kit? And that's not Burntpaw lying on the ground, right?"

"Oh yeah, that is right." said Plumpaw as she looked at Burntpaw "Burntpaw...kinda...got unconsciousness back in the nest with that crazy bird and he fainted." She looked back at Embersong "I guess jumping out of a tree with a cat who is unconsciousness and a kit was not such a great idea after all..." she said, ackwardly.
"Oh well! Time to head back to camp!" exclaimed Plumpaw, happily as she ran away from Embersong, Iceheart, Greenkit, Burntpaw and um, that other weird kit.

"Wow, she's nice, leaving Burntpaw lying on the ground. Eh," Embersong shrugged. She turned wrathfully on Iceheart. "WHERE WERE YOU? just kidding <3. can you do me a favor and pick Burntpaw and that, uh, other kit up? I'll take Greenkit." She mewed it like it was a perfectly fair trade.

Greenkit purred, scooting closer to Silverkit. "He's Silverkit, Embersong!" she meowed.

Silverkit felt a little awkward.

OOC-Lol, and Burnt and Plum are supposed to be mates one day!
I need to ask Ice what she is doing about her characters since her not posting is making me go

Iceheart nodded. "Okay. A test, both of you. Birchpaw, head to either the mountains or the hills. Jynxpaw, the field or the forest. You cannot go to the meadow. At all. You must each hunt a squirrel, two voles, three mice, and four birds. Is that okay?" Iceheart asked Dragonblaze.

Birchpaw clawed the groound anxiously with his paws. This was his first assesment! he realised suddenly. And i't with Jynxpaw! he almost fainted with the apprehension of being assesed......with his crush!

ooc: I has this distant memory about Ocean saying we could play his charries? If I'm wrong, please ignore this post.
ic: Dragonblaze nodded. "Go!" When the apprentices were out of sight, Iceheart mewed, "Dragonblaze, how about you asses Jynxpaw, and I'll do Birchpaw." Without waiting for an answer, Iceheart walked away after Birchpaw.

Birchpaw scented the air slowly, and caught the smell of a vole. His ears pricked, and he saw it lumbering out of the bushes across his path. He leaped, then bit its neck, giving thanks to Spiritclan for it's life. He purred happily as he buried his prey, then stalked forward, his eyes and ears alert.

Birchpaw stalked forward, his eyes and ears alert. A mouse ran across his path, but he missed it by a whisker-length. "Mouse dung!" he exclamed, thrashing his tail.

could he run into Jynxpaw or something?

The apprentice stopped suddenly. There were cats following him! he thought frantically. He stopped and pretended he had smelt a squirrel. Then he sprinted off into the undergrowth, and, hearing the sound of footsteps, climbed a tree to see who was following him. They stopped just underneath his tree, loosing his scent on the bracken. Plumpaw and Fallendawn!. This was going to be fun....

ic: Fallendawn froze. Plumpaw, who had been following close behind, nearly crashed into her mentor. Fallendawn peered up into the foliage. "Squirrel?" Plumpaw questioned, but her mentor slapped her tail into the apprentice's mouth. "No..." Fallendawn mewed suspiciously.

Iceheart paused. "Something wrong?" As he opened his mouth he smelled more LavaClan cats. Fallendawn and Plumpaw! His tail twitched with amusement.

Birchpaw stifled a purr of amusement, and tensed his hind legs. He leaped off the branch, right onto Fallendawn's head. He pretended to claw the apprentice, then faltered. "Haha, you guys were making as much noise as a fox in a fit!" he purred with triumph.

Iceheart purred. "Good job!"

Birchpaw lifted his head when he was praised, but then realised he was still standing on Falendawn. "Oh Spiritclan I'm sorry!" he apologised.

"AHHH!" screamed Plumpaw as she stepped backwards and fell over a branch. "Ooomph!" she cried. She layed there for a while before saying, "Well this wasn't suppose to happen."

Jynxpaw closed her eyes. She and her sister shared a special bond. Sometimes they could see through each others eyes. Instead of seeing the camp, though, Jynxpaw saw the forest! Her sister was close by! And with Birchpaw! What?

Dragonblaze yawned as he stepped out of the shadows. "What are you two doing here?" questioned Dragonblaze to Fallendawn and Plumpaw.

"Uhhh...." said Plumpaw as she looked at Fallendawn for some help.

Birchpaw smirked to himself as Plumpaw failed to explain herself.

Fallendawn purred. "Plumpaw wanted some training partners, so I came out here to find you guys...and apparently Birchpaw found us!" Although I had already found him in the first place, she thought. "Anyway, can we train with you?"

Plumpaw looked at Birchpaw.

Jynxpaw decided to run over, even though that would ruin the entire assement. "Hey guys!" called Jynxpaw as she ran over.

"Hey, Jynx." said Plumpaw, weakly. She then glanced back at Birchpaw, hoping to see his reaction to her.

Birchpaw quickly stopped smirking at Plumpaw, and licked his chest to cover up how awkward he felt. He shuffled his paws and said "Hi, Jynxpaw...." shyly

"Training?" Iceheart prompted. "Battle training?"

"Okay!" Birchpaw brightened immediately. "Wait, I have some prey buried back there,"

Jynxpaw smiled sweetly at Birchpaw. He was so socially ackward around her! She wondered why.

Plumpaw smirked at Birchpaw. Did her sister know Birchpaw liked her? Maybe she should tell her, just in case. I mean, what are sister for? But then again...

"To battle training!" said Dragonblaze as she began to go to the training hollow.

"Yeah, battle training," Fallendawn echoed. She frowned at Birchpaw, Jynxpaw, and Plumpaw. "Come on, Plumpaw, let's getting training!" she bossed. "And you two, stop standing around! Let's get training," she meowed, annoyed.

"Whatever!" said Plumpaw and "Okay, Fallendawn." said Jynxpaw, as they followed Dragonblaze and Fallendawn to the Training Hollow.

ooc: Ooh, ooh! Plumpaw can tell Jynxpaw, then Jynx can ask Birch why he llikes her, and he just denies it...? Good plan?

ic: Birchpaw smiled shyly at Jynxpaw, and hurried after Drangonblaze, Fallendawn and Plumpaw down the trail. (rp in training hollow now?)

ic: Iceheart walked to the training hollow.

Soulkit went into the forest as he followed Hazekit and Wildkit. Where were they even going? he wondered, but he didn't care. This was the best amount of fun he ever had! He had never been out of camp! And all the warriors told them that kits can't leave the camp, or else they will get hurt & the forest is a dangerous place! Yeah right! its not.....

Wildkit bound ahead as Hazekit yawned, trotting slowly through the forest. Her taller and thinner build gave her a whole head above her younger sisters thicker more muscled one, as Wildkit pounced on an unsuspecting leaf. "Take THAT, Sunclan!" Wildkit hissed playfully. Hazekit held back a chuckle at her sister's pretend-fighting. But then they hit the caves. Caverns holed off into sheetrock formed a mysterious bunch of caves, some covered off by moss and vines that created curtains of vegetation. Wildkit let go of the leaf and walked over towards the caves, her childish moment over as she tipped her nose to the sky and took a deep breath in.
Hazekit stopped a moment at the gloriousness of the caves, her multi-colored amber and gold fur waving in the light breeze, creating the illusion of movement when entirely still. She closed her turquoise eyes and felt at peace..

"Hmm...well these caves look fun & exciting!" announced Soulkit.

Miragekit ran up, and collapsed in a heap, panting. "These... Cav...es.. look.... TIRING!" She panted.

Wildkit grinned, her eyes calculating the leap to get to the first ledge. "Yeah..." She said, deep in thought.

Hazekit chuckled and quickly leapt up onto the ledge, flicking her younger sister in the face with her tail as she reached the stone ledge.

Wildkit narrowed her eyes and jumped up beside Hazekit.

Night is going to be in the cave, right? Jay=CHATBOX! NOW! VAMOS!

IC-Soulkit took a few steps back before launching through the air and landing besides his sisters. "Well, that was fun!" exclaimed Soulkit as his voice echoed throughout the cave.

Hazekit shivered as she cautiously walked forward into the cave.

Wildkit narrowed her eyes into the darkness and stepped ahead.

After taking a couple steps into the darkness, the air became musty and damp. Suddenly, Hazekit stopped dead in her tracks.

Miragekit shot her siblings a glare before bounding up to the ledge. She followed her siblings, but almost bumped into Soulkit. "What?" She whispered.

"Do you guys hear that..." Hazekit whispered quietly.

"You mean an injured kits wail? No! Of course not." said Soulkit sarcastically.

Sensing danger, Wildkit's mood immediately switched. "Soulkit, stop. This cat could be in danger. You stay by the entrance to call us back so we don't get lost. Hazekit, you come with me, Mirage, stick with Soulkit." Venturing into the deep of the cave, Hazekit slowly followed her sister.

Miragekit humphed. Just her luck that she was stuck with Soulkit.
