Moonclan Rp

Moonclan Territory: Moonclan entire territory is a large, thick jungle where barely any light can penetrate so it is always dark there. Their terrritory is on the western side of the island, but on the western ede there are small sea cliffs. The jungle is always cool and somewhat misty. Moonclan faces trouble with forest fires, seeing as their territory is all jungle and therefore all trees a single forest fire could wipe them out and destroy their home. Moonclan trains apprentices in a large training hollow, not that far from the camp. The darkness in the jungle helps conceal their camp location and prove difficult for invasions and attacks against them.

Moonclan Camp: Moonclans camp is in the darkest part of the jungle, close to the western edge of the island. It is in a clearing where the camp is. The camp is big and makes up the entire clearing. Out of all the clans, Moonclan has the least amount of cats. They use leaves and branches and rocks for the walls and dens and use grass and other leaves to bind them together. Their camp is very flammable and if a fire were to reach the camp the camp would go up into flames and would trap cats. Thats why they always have to be careful about fires and if they can put it out or not. They have a pure white slab of rock that serves as the area where the leader makes announcements. It is called Highcliff as it is like a cliff. The leaders den is below that area in a small crack that is barely noticeable but big enough for cats to get in. Their camp is always dark and cool and misty. Moonclan has two entrances, one main entrance facing toward the south and another secret side entrance, pointing to the northwest. That entrance was made over the years as more cats snuck out to do secret stuff. Now it is known as an entrance for anyone who has a secret. Which s most of them. The order of the dens from the entrance are medicine cat den, nursery, elders den, deputies den, warriors den, apprentices den. And of course the leaders den is in the middle under the Highcliff. A long, old moss covered tree makes up the medicine cat den, the nursery and the elders den. It supplies them with fresh moss as well! The deputies den is small hole under a tree stump that leads to a hollow underground. The warriors den is made from a black slab of rock, which is in stark contrast to apprentices den which is amde from a white slab of rock, said to be some broken rock from the Highcliff. On the opposite end of the camp, there is a few clumps of bushes. in the middle of the bushes is a hole which leads to the caverns below. In case of a forest fire or any other problem they have a second camp right underneath their old one. You go down and there is a big middle area with a tree stump called Highstump. Then there are tunnels coming off from it to the secondary dens. The order of the dens are the same underground as they are above. The leaders den though, is in the northern part of the secondary camp coming off a tunnel there.

Moonclan Wildlife: Moonclan usually eats rabbits, mice, squirrels, and birds. Being the fastest of all the clans and the quietest makes them great hunters. They can have foxes, badgers, tropical birds of prey, monkeys and bats as well. Foxes and badgers are a danger to the clan. The birds of prey can sometimes snatch up kits, or even small apprentices if the bird is big enough. Luckily most of the birds of prey nest in the areas of the forester where it is lighter, so they don't often nest near the camp. But sometimes they can and sometimes they can snatch up kits! Moonclan warriors have to quickly strike down any bird that might pose a threat to the clan. They don't mind the monkeys and the bats, as they do not them eat them.

Moonclan Traits: Sneaky, clever, sly, mysterious, secretive, they all seem to have secrets and all keep to theirselves. Moonclan is always neutral in wars and never gets involved in battles or fights. They are very quiet, stealthy, clever and sly. They sneak trough the forest and leave behind no evidence that they even went in it. They usually have darker coats for blending into the darkness. They have no enemies and no friends. They are loyal to their clan, but seem to be more loyal to themselves and their secrets. Moonclan is kinda a mixture of Thunderclan and Shadowclan.

Moonclan History: Moonclan was founded by Moonwater, who along with six other cats, met together and made the clans. These seven cats were the last cats to be following the traditions of the ancient clan of Snowclan so they decided to make clans so that the traditions could be shared to others, or else they would go extinct. Moonwater was brother to Oceanshine, founder of Oceanclan. Moonwater, Oceanshine, and the founder of Dawclan, Dawnwillow, were all siblings. He was the eldest and the only boy in their litter. Dawnwillow was the youngest of the three. They were very close with each other. That all changed when they made the clans. They had to put their clan first and work on making grow and become great and to carry on the traditions of ancient Snowclan. Slowly, and then very quickly they began to drift apart. Moonwater did not come to Oceanshines help when her clan was attacked by Sunclan or do anyhting about. He had to deal with his own clan and not worry about the other clans problems. Moonclan was at first not neutral at all. Moonwater was power-hungry and wanted all the other clans to merge with his to make an ultimate clan, at which he would be the leader of. After Sunclan had been beat by Oceanclan and Lavaclan, Moonwater figured now was a good time to make his move. He then mad ehis clan war on all the others. Lavaclan, Oceanclan, Forestclan, Sunclan and even a few attacks on Dawnclan from time to time. He was ruthless, cruel and deteremined for power. He pushed his clan even after many knew they were beat. He even told them not to use the warrior code anymore, so they could kill cats and weaken the clans. Finally, after much fighting the combined efforts of Lavaclan, Oceanclan, Dawnclan and Forestclan, Moonclan lost. Sunclan also attacked at that as well because they got messages to attack at that time. But they weren't apart of the allegiance due to Oceanclans and Sunclans past battle. The clans met and then decided to let Moonclan stay. The cats didn't want to have anything to do with it. But they had to punish Moonclan. So all the cats that had killed a cat were banished. They couldn't punish Moonwater anymore because his own warlike behavior had caused his pregnat mate to die, as he inisisted that even queens needed to fight. And with that, the clans left it as it was. Moonclan had clan members left and many pregnant queens or queens with kits had died so they were unable to get back on track in term of cats. Moonclan suffered from hunger for some time but slowly, as time went on they got better. They still had the least amount of cats though. Moonwater felt empty when his mate died in the final battle. It was like he had died inside. He was deppressed about what happened, but showed his feelings to no one. He then stepped up and tried to get Moonclan back on there feet, this time as a good leader and not by war. But from then on, Moonclan became mysterious, secretive, keeping to theirselves, and always neutral.

ic: Fallenstar pointed to Violetkit. "Also being an apprentice. We sure have a lot now, right? So, from now on until you get your warrior name, you are Violetpaw. May SpiritClan guide you and watch over you as you train to be a warrior. Your mentor will be ANGELLEAF. OKAY? HAPPY? TOUCH NOSES AND CHEER!"

Everyone cheered. "Violetpaw!"

Angelleaf stepped foward and touched noses with Violetpaw. Violetpaw smiled.
Deviltail touched noses with whoever.

Okay, anybody next? I know now that Darkkit has to be apprenticed to Glowheart, but Fallenstar can't do that. Glowheart does.

I'm a little confused, but
Darkkit stayed quiet. She knew she is going to be a medicine cat apprentice and Glowheart will tell her that soon.

And just to let you know Oceanstorm, Wisteriafrost can't have an apprentice. She is pregnant. Meaning she is a queen. And she needs to have her kits NOW. or soon. Cuz my kits in Oceanclan are apprentices already.

IC-Wisteriafrost for some reason got angry that the ceremonies were taking too long. But that quickly subsided and she wondered who would be apprenticed next! It was sad, it seemed like yesterday they had been kits and the before that they had been born. (LOL it is true!)

ic: Solarkit woke up. Nudging his sister, he urged, "Com on! Let's go exporing!"

Rosefeather laughed randomly.

Glowheart padded outside from her den.

ic; Fallenstar called out, "The clan meeting is still in session. Glowheart has something to say."

"No I don't want to." said Lunarkit as she turned over and slept some more.

Wisteriafrost was happy that Darkkit was becoming a medicine cat apprentice as they needed more medicine cats!

Solarkit pouted. "You're such a party pooper." He tottered out of the nursery for the first time.

Aquafur saw his son walk out of the nursery.

Aquafur smiled evilly and thought that if he had to make one of his kits evil it would be Solarkit.

Aquafur nodded slowly at his previous thought. Solarkit had curiosity, leadership, and courage to be admired. He left his nest only, what, a day old?

While Lunakit was still inside the nursery sleeping away! PAH! She was a loser, even though she was his daughter.

Glowheart said "Cats of Moonclan, as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown the knowledge of the herbs. Your next medicine cat will be Darkpaw." Fallenstar mewed. "Darkpaw, do you accept the post of apprentice to Glowheart? "
Darkkit answered. "I do." Glowheart mewed. "Then at the half-moon, you must travel to the Moonrock to be accepted by SpiritClan before the other medicine cats." Fallenstar nodded. "The good wishes of all Moonclan will go with you. "
Glowheart touched noses with Darkpaw. Everyone cheered. Runatune was proud that she had a medicine cat apprentice daughter.
Darkpaw was so happy. She had to get ready to travel.
Wait, Icedragon will be at the Moon rock right now?

OOC-Yes he is at the moonrock but will be leaving soon.

IC-Wisteriafrost cheered and contiued to act normal. Her tummy growled and whined for food. She looked embarssed.

Aquafur cheered weakly. Medicine cats. PAH! Who needed them? All they did was heal. What Moonclan needed was fighters, not cats that messed around all day with herbs. They were useless and better off without them.

Lunarkit dreamed of a horrible fire sweeping over the jungle. The two sides needed to work together.....
She turned over and the dream faded and was forgotten.

Aquafur reconsidered. Then again, medicine cats were needed to heal diseases. Sure, only the strong cats wouldn't require medicne for their wounds, but sickness and, uh, birth was a different matter. Maybe he would get the medicine cats to teach to a few good fighters, and then kill them off.

Solarkit looked around the camp. Good; so far no cat had noticed him. He crept behind a rock.

Rosefeather searched for her new apprentice.

OOC-Are the ceremonies done? What about Nightkit, Violetkit, Cloudkit, Flarekit, Mistkit, Fogkit and Stormkit? Shouldn't they be made apprentices? And also the free character Mintpaw should become a warrior as well.

ooc: okay for mintpaw, but weren't those other kits just born or something? Do we even have enough mentors? (I though Violetkit was already an apprentice)

So when's Half-moon?

(Yup, I'm back guys. Sorry for the delay. I really apologize. Aquafur is gonna kill me. Full moon was yesterday, half moon last Tuesday.)

Glowheart walked to her den and gathered some traveling herbs for Darkpaw and herself.

Lightpath looked at his paws thoughtfully.

ic: Fallenstar had one last ceremony to do. "Okay, I know you all are tired, but I have one more ceremony. Will Mintpaw please come up here? She is becoming a warrior."
"I, Fallenstar, leader of MoonClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn.
Mintpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Who plays Mintpaw? I believe I mentioned a while back that I wanted Mintpaw, and some other kits.

mintpaw is a free character. Sooo.....Can I play her temporarily to do the ceremony? If not, i'll edit it.

Mintpaw mewed, "I do."

Fallenstar mewed, "Then by the powers of SpiritClan, I give you your warrior name. Mintpaw, from this moment you will be known as Mintberry. SpiritClan honors your bravery and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of MoonClan."

OOC-So all those kits will be made apprentices around the same time as Solarkit and Lunakit? Also yeah Mintpaw is a charrie. Whoever has the Moonclan allegiance mught want to update it show the free characters so peoples can pick who they want to have as characters. Also Mintberry is such a cool name!

IC-Wisteriafrost cheered "MINTBERRY! MINTBERRY! OW! SON OF A FOX TWISTED LYING MOUSE BRAINED FOOL! DARN! SPIRITCLAN!" Wisteriafrost started crying out in pain. It meant one thing......the kits were coming.


OOC-Happy Ice? Maybe I won't file for a divorce. Maybe I will.

Darkpaw mewed nervously asked Glowheart. "Do you think spiritclan will accept me?"
So, is someone from Spiritclan going to visit Darkpaw or smt?

yeah I just the kits will become apprentices some time near Solar and Luna's, maybe earlier. Also, Solar has to be stolen when he is an apprentice, right, so get the corruption moving!

ic: Fallenstar rested her muzzle on Mintberry's head, and Mintberry licked the leader's shoulder.

Solarkit tiptoed to another bush, farther from camp. He wanted to see the world.

Darkpaw was excited.

The Chronicles of Solarkit Book I

Solarkit tumbled down a hole. It hadn't been his fault; who would think that a hole'd be in the middle of a clump of bushes? Luckily for him, the hole wasn't too deep. He landed on his forepaws with an omph! and a to-be bruise, but otherwise he was fine. Solarkit looked around. There was a huge hollowed out cavern, and in the middle, a tree stump. He tottered over to it and attempted to climb it, to no avail. He was still tiny and about four days old. He wandered around the cavern and then noticed more tunnels leading off the big cavern. He wanted to explore so he went down the tunnel that smelled like his mother, but all musty and stuff. He didn't see the dark shadow that slipped out of the hole, landing silently on its feet. Solarkit walked into an abandoned nursery. "Why?" he asked himself. "It's in case we ever need a second camp," a voice said. Solarkit cringed. The cat stepped out of the shadows, eyes gleaming. "This is the second nursery. I am your father, Aquafur."

Aquafur carried Solarkit, now sleeping from all the excitement, back to the nursery. He laid him beside his sister. "Dream about killing," he whispered, flashing his fangs in a smile.

OOC-I need to make a book for Lunakit! Sorry Eagle about that It would be really cool if there was a huge storm and Moonclans camp collasped into the underground one! But not now but it could be a plot line later on.

IC-Lunakit mewed in her sleep and dreamed she had fell down a hole. She fluttered her eyes and saw Aquafur bring Solarkit into the nursery and heard him whisper "Dream about killing." but she might have been imagining that last as she was so tired and she fluttered her eyes one more time before she fell back to sleep.

Wisteriafrost screamed "GLOWHEART! HELP! THE KITS ARE COMING!" She felt like her tummy was about to explode.

ooc- Or maybe the underground camp flooded, or got infested with snakes or something! Possibilities, possibilities...

ic: Solarkit slept. In his mind, the words "Dream about killing" were etched, but he wasn't sure how.

Aquafur sneered and slipped out of the nursery.

Fallenstar returned finally to the nursery. She felt bad about leaving her newborn kits for a day, but they were young. It's not like they could have gotten into much mischief.

Erm can someone play Glowheart while Flame is gone? I will need her.

So we finished our ceremonies and Darkpaw is ready to travel.

ic: Solarkit dreamed about killing, although he wasn't really sure how. He had never seen killing in his short life.

No. we haven't started it yet. When will solerkit, lunakit, and the other kits become apprentices? We can't start it yet because Aquafur needs to corrupt more, but we barely have enough cats on to be orrupted.

OOC-Med cat needs to help me with my kits, please.

IC-Wisterafrost screamed as she kitted in the middle of the camp. Why was nobody helping her? Whay was everyone ignoring her?

Lunarkit woke up and saw Wisteriafrost screaming. She that her belly was huge and.....was moving? She thought her belly was going to explode but then she realized she was having kits. Her face was lit with pure joy and happiness. She then sat down in the nest and watched the birthing of her denmates!

Aqaufur corrupted so many cats.....it wasn't even funny. He corrupted and corrupted some more. Some corruption here, some there. Pratically all the free cat were not corrupted! He was pleased by what he did. The free cats talked to each other planning when they would take over. Soon it would be time but not now. But soon.....so soon.......

ic: Darkpaw heard a scream coming from outside. "Glowheart! Someone's kitting!!!" Darkpaw had no idea to help kitting. She panicked. She decided to help with the things she knew. She took some raspberry leaves. She ran to Wisterafrost and mewed sadly. "Sorry, Glowheart will come soon, and I'm do not have much knowledge about herbs. This is all that I can do. It will stop bleeding during the kitting." She used it on Wisterafrost.
ooc: I'm not good at herbs! Can someone play Glowheart!?

Solarkit woke up to screams and Lunakit sitting up. "What is it?" he asked, rubbing his eyes with his paws.

"Hmm? Oh! Wisteriafrost is having kits. Either that or her belly is going to explode!" squeked Lunakit as she giggled. She then stopped and realized that if her belly did explode she would die.........right?

Wisteriafrosts belly spasmed as the first kit began to arrive. She yowled with pain.

Solarkit watched and cringed.

Rosefeather ran over to Wisteriafrost. "Bite the stick!" she yelled.

Wisteriafrost bit on the stick. The first kitten began to inch out. The stick she was biting on broke.

"Wow." said Lunakit. It hurt that much? Wait......what was hurt?

Solarkit imagined the pain from his bruises. He tried to multiply that to imagine what Wisteriafrost was feeling. He gave up and was glad he wasn't a she-cat.


ooc: did you audition for the kits yet?

ic: Rosefeather watched over Wisteriafrost anxiously. "You're doing great! The first kit is coming out!" she mewed and pretended like she knew what she was doing.

Darkpaw fetched another stick.

Angelleaf froze. She sat down.

Wisteraifrost began pushing the first kit out. She snapped the stick.
