Brightkit nodded, but not as vigorously as Rosefeather (LOL). She sniffed each of the herbs to learn the scents.

Lightningclaw tried not to stare as Everclear, and shivered in his long, storm-gray fur, which set the lightning-slash down his flank quivering.

Swiftkit and Amberkit were neck and neck, racing towards the fresh-kill pile. Amberkit slipped on a trailing tree root, and fell sprawling to the ground. She got up and limped towards her mother, her front-left foreleg lifted from the ground.

Everclear met Lightningclaw's gaze and smiled, her clear, glassy bluegray eyes brightening.

Nova- chatbox please??

Lightningclaw's pelt grew prickly under Everclear's gaze, so he said "What were we needed for again?"

ooc: kk, I'll wait then.
ic: Eaglescar and Phoenixpaw started over to Everclear. Wolfpaw was looking confused. He raced over to Everclear. "Umm, my mentor...is on the...umm...that is..." he muttered.
ooc: His mentor is on the evil side.
ic: Windpaw lay a tail on Wolfpaw's shoulder comfortingly. "His mentor's on Aquafur's side," she quietly mewed.

OOC-Wow, Fallen's family is HUGE...lol soon they will control the entire clan! MWUHAHAHAHA!

IC-Lunapaw wondered who her mentor was again! (No, really, who is it?)

OOC-Who is Lightning's mate?

Everclear turned to the gathered warriors. "Lighningclaw, eill you organize the hunting and patrols..? I'll be awolfpaw's temporary mentor." She smiled at wolfpaw.

ooc: Lightning's mate is Pearldapple Ocean. and his kits are Ripplepaw, Brightkit, Swiftkit and Amberkit. <----- ugh too many!

OOC-Wait, so Ripple is older than the other kits, right?
That...sometimes confuses me...lol

ooc: Lunapaw's mentor is Angelleaf.

ic: Rosefeather wondered what else Glowheart would teach her and Brightkit. Her eyes misted over as she thought of learning all the herbs in the medicine cat's den, like what that fleshy green leaf did or that flower.....but she didn't think she would be allowed to continue as medicine cat after the war, so the warrior-turned healer contented herself with the useful-est herbs that she knew already.

Pearlblaze, Rubypaw, and Pebblecreek waited for Fallenstar to start the training session.

Everclear smiled at lightningclaw and went to join Fallenstar. "Fallenstar.." She whispered. "Amberkit, and Swiftkit should all be ready for their ceremonies.." She added.

Fallenstar nodded. "Moonclan, please direct your attention towards me. Swiftkit, and Amberkit, please step forward."

Okay......just like BAM your apprentices lol

Swiftkit and Amberkit looked at each other in surprise, then stepped forward. Pearldapple smiled. All her kits were finally apprentices.

"You have both proven yourselves to be strong and intelligent enough to become apprentices. I myself will be your mentor, Amberpaw, and Everclear, you will be Swiftpaw's mentor." She slowly stepped forward and lightly touched her aapprentice's nose as Everclear did the same. "Please, join our Master training session." Everclear chanted the apprentice's names.

OOC-Sorry! So, just to make sure, Everclear is just a warrior, right?

IC-Lunapaw looked for Angelleaf, her mentor. She then snapped her head to her mom, Fallenstar. Her mom was taking on Amberpaw as her apprentice? What an honor! "Amberpaw! Amberpaw! Swiftpaw! Swiftpaw!" cheered Lunapaw as she walked over to them, for the Master Training Ceremony.

OOC-How about Aqua attacks the clan during the Master Training or after it? That way it would be like practice...made real! :O

Ic: "Everclear, let's demonstrate." Fallenstar said. She whispered something to the bigger cat, then turned her back. Everclear jumped onto Fallenstar, who immediately flattened out and rolled to the side, the battle-scarred warrior falling off of her leaders back. Fallenstar then flipped around and slammed her weight into Everclear's side, knocking her over, the leader's law at the other cat's throat. "See? Mentors, try it with apprentices." She ordered.

OOC-Okay, I was just wondering since Aqua is preparing to attack Moonclan again! :O

IC-Lunapaw looked around for her mentor, Angelleaf.

Harvestmoon watched the Master Training Session. It was weird, watching all the cats train in the camp.

ooc: ....guys....Fallenstar already has an apprentice, Nightpaw or something...

ic: Rubypaw turned to her mentor, who already had her back to the apprentice. Rubypaw pounced, but slid off like a mouse than ran into a rock as Pearlblaze began to fall belly first towards the ground. "You're supposed to stay on," the mentor berated gently.

Pebblecreek looked for his apprentice....

Eagle, Chat?

Swiftpaw and Amberpaw smiled. Their first challenge as apprentices were to battle their mentors! Swiftpaw padded towards Everclear and sat down nervously, fidgeting with his stormy gray paws.

Amberpaw shook her glossy gold-flecked tabby fur, and padded towards Fallenstar. What an honour! The leader as her mentor? She could hardly get her mind around the fact that they were apprentices rather than the leader was her mentor! She strode confidently towards Fallenstar, and asked "Could you show me the move again please? I dont think i got the whole thing quite right in my head,".

Pearldapple eyed Everclear evily.

Everclear noticed Pearldapple and narrowed her eyes slightly but kept a stony face. Then she turned to her new apprentice and smiled. "Watch Fallenstar again, alright? Then, you will try it on me."

Fallenstar's frame was a little more than half the size ofEverclears, but they began the move again. "Watch." Fallenstar ordered.
Everclear once again jumped onto Fallenstar's back and the leader flattened out. Everclear lost her balance and Fallenstar used the chance to press her sharp shoulder into the soft flesh between the ribcage and shoulder, shoving with all of her might. With a gasp, the wind was knocked out of Everclear's lungs. "Jeez!" She panted, narrowing her eyes half-heartedly at her sister.
Fallenstar grinned. "This is only a move to defend yourself aganist LARGE CATS ATTACKING FROM BEHIND. It will NOT work on a smaller cat. Apprentices: make sure to jab with your shoulder, the spot right between the shoulder and the ribcage. It is a pressure point. Now try. If you have any questions, ask your mentors."
Fallenstar then turned to Amberpaw. "Now try it with me." She ordered softer, nudgind the apprentice in front of her.

ic: Phoenixpaw watched the move with wide eyes. "Can we try that?" she asked to Eaglescar. "Of course. That's what we're here for," she purred. Beckoning, she led Phoenixpaw to an empty part of the clearing. Focusing, Phoenixpaw tensed her muscles. Eaglescar did the same, and leaped. Phoenixpaw carefully but quickly flattened out. Eaglescar, who wasn't easily unbalanced, barely found her footing. Before she could get back on her feet, Phoenixpaw jabbed at her. With a yelp, she fell over. "Nice job!" she purred.
Wolfpaw pricked his ears. Everclear as his mentor? That was awesome! "So, which move are we doing first?" he asked.
Glowheart beckoned and led her "apprentices" further into the den.

OOC-Does this mean...Fallen has 2 apprentices? Woa...

IC-Lunapaw looked around for her mentor, Angelleaf.

ooc: im not entirely sure....but when Jay and Runa can come back they will tell us of problems lol

ic: Swiftpaw looked at Everclear the launched into the battle move. He jabbed her in the pressure point but couldnt get enough strength to roll her off him. He collapsed to the ground huffing like a badger.

Amberpaw followed Fallenstar and sat in front of her.

Brightpaw followed Glowheart into the medicine den, sniffing at the pile of dock leaves heaped in the corner.

Everclear chuckled. "One moment, Wolfpaw. One at a time. Swiftpaw, you nneed to get the timing right when you flatten out. Try as soon as you feel my belly-fur touch your back. Try it again."

After the apprentice was positioned, Fallenstar pounced.

Lol just saying - Amberpaw's best at fighting and Swiftpaw's best at hunting. And Brightpaw's the best at being a medicine cat (duh)

Amberpaw quickly flattened to the ground as Fallenstar pounced and jabbed her shoulder upwards into the pressure point, knocking the wind out of Fallenstar's lungs and getting the move perfect the first time.

Swiftpaw eyed Everclear and flattened just as she pounced. His bony shoulder was perfect for this move, and he managed to shove Everclear over sideways.

Pearldapple watched as Everclear pounced on her son, and watched her carefully. Lightningclaw padded over and nuzzled Pearldapple in the shoulder.

Fallenstar flinched and jumped back. "Good job!" She said, proud of her apprentice.

Everclear at the last moment realized she didn't want to dirty her silvery fur so at the last moment, after she was shoved over, in order to gain her balance she flipped over, landing on all four paws. She flashed a grin to Lightningclaw and a cheekier one to her sister. "Everclear, you're ping to confuse the apprentices!" Fallenstar scolded. "Alright alright." Everclear responded with a chuckle. She turned to Swiftpaw. "Good job!" She congratulated.

Pearlblaze pounced on Rubypaw, but the apprentice flipped to the side at the last second and used her legs, which were now facing upwards, to push her mentor into the air. Pearlblaze panted, running a paw over her face to smooth the ruffled fur from Rubypaw's paws.
"That was neat! Where did you learn that from?" Pearlblaze mewed, excited.
"Oh, I made a few changes to the move Fallenstar was showing us," Rubypaw meowed casually.
"Well, it worked," Pearlblaze confirmed, "can you show it to me?" She was surprised herself that she was learning from her apprentice.

Fallenstar noticed the apprentice's move and called her forward. "Rubypaw! Great move for if you are getting attacked by a SMALLER cat! Demonstrate." Fallenstar stepped back.

Amberpaw purred as she watched Rubypaw demonstrate the new move.

Swiftpaw mumbled a thanks to Everclear, then went and sat by his sister and watched the new move.

Everclear and Fallenstar quickly re-demonstrated the move, the larger warrior tossing her sister up into the air easily. But Fallenstar twisted in the air and landed on her feet gently. "Be careful you push away instead of up. If you push too hard, your enemy will have enough time to land on his or her feet like I just did, which would mean an exposed belly for you. Try it." She ordered.

ic: "Can we try that?" asked Phoenixpaw eagerly. Eaglescar hesistated. "Let's try that last move one more time," she said. She wasn't going to admit it, but the new move was complicated.

"For this, apprentices must be paired with apprentices. The smaller of the two will pounce, the larger will perform the move. It looks difficult, but roll on your side and kick out with your legs. It will be Swiftpaw and Amberpaw, Phoenixpaw and ____paw, and ___ and____." She ordered.

Rubypaw blinked. "Oh, sorry Fallenstar." She had her mentor attack her again, and this time, after one practice from before, gracefully spun onto her flank and kicked diagonally. "It's better if you hit the face," she mewed matter-of-factly. Pearlblaze crashed onto the ground. "Yes, it does temporarily disorient the opponent," the mentor admitted. She playfully swiped at her apprentice. "But next time, don't hit me so hard!" They tussled for a bit before Pearlblaze got back to business. "Okay, like Fallenstar said, now you attack me, Rubypaw."

Pebblecreek looked for his apprentice...

OOC-Who does Pebblecreek apprentice? Lol, it is weird, they are suppose to be in the camp but some of them are mysteriously not present.

IC-Lunapaw walked over to Pebblecreek. "Do you want to practice?" she asked, seeing that his apprentice was no where to be seen. She didn't worry about it all that much, though.

ooc: Pebble's apprentice is Mistpaw, but I don't know who plays Mistpaw.

ic: Pebblecreek nodded, glad he could stop walking around aimlessly. It looked like Mistpaw was nowhere to be found; hopefully the apprentice had not wandered off or been taken by Aquafur. "Sure," he mewed. "Do you want to practice the new move?"

OOC-Hmm...I think either Star plays as them or they are free characters. When Star left, I made some of her cats have kits to help populate the clan (not needed anymore, lol) and then she came back...so I don't know if she has claimed them as hers, gotten rid of them or what. Maybe you could send her an email or pm, asking her about it?

IC-"Sure! I would love to Pebblecreek." said Lunapaw, happily. Pebblecreek was a great deputy; one day, he would be a good leader, but that would mean her mom would have to die and she didn't really want that to happen at all! Or retire...but then again, leaders almost never retire so...

Swiftpaw casually led Amberpaw to a less crowded space, and waited for her to pounce. Amberpaw sized him up, and her gaze wandered to a passing butterfly, trying to fool her brother. It worked, and while Swiftpaw was distracted, she pounced. Swiftpaw was so startled that Amberpaw managed to get him lying on his back with a paw at his neck within two seconds. She smiled, and after a little bit of struggling she let her brother up. Swiftpaw rolled his eyes at his sister. He would get her next time...then she would be sorry...

Brightpaw sniffed at some tansy in the corner, and flinched back as it crumbled at her touch. "Umm, Glowheart," she said casually, "This tansy is too old to use. It smells weak and musty,"

ooc: Or, Oceanstorm, I could answer it now (LOL). I'll take them if nobody else does.
ic: Phoenixpaw bounded over to Everclear. "Can Wolfpaw and I work together?" she asked, giving her puppy (kitten?)-eyes.
Glowheart frowned. "Where's Darkpaw?" she asked. One of them was part-time, one of them was full-time. How was she supposed to teach both?
Windpaw went over. "Umm, my ,entor's supposed to be Rockheart, but he went over to you-know-who's side, so can Whirlwind be my mentor?"

Fallenstar nodded "yes" to the young cat and she chuckled at Amberpaw and Swiftpaw. "Everyone practice both moves two more times each, and we will move onto our final move. Then we will spar." Fallenstar ordered.

ic: Turning to Brightpaw, she said, "Thank you!" She was amazed at how the young cat had picked up how the tansy was old. Gesturing for Rosefeather to come closer, she said, "This is old tansy. See how it's old and musty and starting to crumble? That means that it's too old to use. Tansy is used for coughs, but I think this will only give cats another cough!" she purred.
Windpaw mewed a quick thank-you to Fallenstar, then turned to where Whirlwind and the rest of the hunting patrol was. Snowbird and Firebird started to head out. Whirlwind and Windpaw quickly followed.

ooc: Hmm...if Mistpaw is no one's cat, and unless you really, really, want him eaglestar, we should just kill him off in the next raid from Aquafur, because MoonClan is way too overpopulated. haha that sounded terrible...

ic: Rosefeather nodded vigorously. She could obviously tell it was old, but wanted to hear the nuggets of information Glowheart added; old tansy would give cats coughs. She got it. The warrior-turned medicine cat marveled at the wisdom of the medicine cat. "Do we need to get more?" Rosefeather asked, tipped her head to the side. She didn't think so, but who knew? Maybe summer coughs were very common.

Pebblecreek coughed. "Okay, so since it works better on smaller cats apparently, you attack me. After that, I'll give you some pointers on how to dodge and deflect, and then you can try it on me."

Whoever plays Fallenstar at the moment my cat Ripplepaw needs to become a warrior.....called Rippleshade.

Brightpaw glowed under her mentor's praise. She wondered if Glowheart would show her where the other herbs were kept and where to find them in the forest.

Amberpaw and Swiftpaw sparred a few times with their older brother Ripplepaw watching and commenting on tactics and moves to be corrected.

Pearldapple and Lightningclaw sat to the side talking quietly.

ic: Glowheart tipped her head thoughtfully. "We might need more, I've heard of an outbreak of Greenleaf coughs in the other Clans. Tansy won't do much for a big outbreak of whitecough or greencough, but it can be used to serve minor coughs. Let's go through all of the herbs and clear out anything too old to use. Then we can go out to collect the herbs we need. Something tells me that Aquafur won't give up after only one attack."

Rosefeather nodded and started gently pawing through the herbs. "Hmm...." she frowned as she worked. The cache of purple berries she had observed being used to soothe bellyaches was a little shriveled, but large enough to last. Same with the unmistakable mouse bile, rosemary which her mother had taught her as a loner, and yarrow. However, she found only one dried, musty small white flower with fern-like leaves. Even through the musty stench, her delicate nose didn't smell the herb's sweet smell anywhere else in the medicine cat's den. "Glowheart, I think we need more of this herb. What is it?" she asked.

Mmk we will do that after the master lesson.

Everclear turned towards Swiftpaw and Wolfpaw. "Alright, Swiftpaw, you seem a little smaller, so you will attack. Go."

Fallenstar turned to Amberpaw. "You will join in with Wolfpaw and Swiftpaw once they are done with their exercise." She ordered.

Brightpaw sniffed at the herbs along with Rosefeather and was baffled by all the scents. How am i going to remember all these herbs AND how to prepare them? she thought worriedly.

Swiftpaw eyed Wolfpaw out of the corner of a beady amber eye and pounced as a bird cheeped in the trees.

Amberpaw purred as her brother used one of her own tricks to a varying degree of sucess. Rippleshade [im just gonna pretend he was made a warrior] padded over to see what all the fuss was about and purred along with his younger sibling.

ooc: Eagle, what's the herb that Rosefeather found!? PANIC!!! LOL
ic: Glowheart nodded. "Nice observation, Rosefeather. That's chervil (Eagle???), and it's leaves are used for infections as well. But chewing on its roots can help stomacheaches. And don't worry, Brightpaw. You'll learn," she added.
ooc: Wait, MY Wolfpaw?

OOC-LOL, Star! I think it chervil too...I think...

IC-Lunapaw yawned. She was tired. The war took a lot of you! She went into the hunting position to just practice it.

Fallenstar looked around at her apprentices, and after they finished the move, she spoke."That was a great lesson, our next one will be the night after tomorrow. But before you are dismissed, I would like to welcome an apprentice to the ranks of the warriors. Wolfpaw, please step forward."

Lunapaw snapped to attention for the oncoming warrior ceremony.

OOC-Nova! Chat/Vale?

ooc: Can you do Wolfpaw, Windpaw, and Phoenixpaw right now?
ic: Windpaw dropped her prey in the fresh-kill pile with Firebird, Snowbird, and Whirlwind. They trotted over to see what the commotion was about.

Yeah, how bout I start with wolf? I'll do that.

Swiftpaw and Amberpaw snapped to attention, Amberpaw scrambling off her brother for the tenth time that session. Swiftpaw smiled knowingly, his eyes saying "I will get you someday, sis! Just you wait....". Amberpaw nudged him over playfully, just before Rippleshade padded over with a cross look in his eyes. "Is that the way the apprentice to the leader acts?" he said. His younger siblings just stifled purrs of amusement as their brother padded away like he was the boss of them.

Lightningclaw and Pearldapple broke away from each other's arguing and went to sit as far away from each other as they could.

ooc: Wolf is Phoenix's brother...eiher start with Wind or do both of them

Lightningclaw shot an annoyed look at Pearldapple, who shot him another infuriated look back.
Lightningclaw had an idea, then went over to where Everclear was sitting. Pearldapple was furious with her now ex-mate, and stormed off in outrage.
Lightningclaw supressed a smile and sat down beside Everclear. "Hey," he whispered. "Hows life?"

ooc: What the heck, Willow?! JK I totally approve of the whole I'm going to ditch you thing!
ic: Firebird held back a purr of laughter as he watched Lightningclaw and Pearldapple.
Glowheart shook out her fur. "Anything else you two can find?" She was secretly hoping that Brightpaw would see that they had no horsetail.
Brightpool stared at the pheasent on the fresh-kill pile. "Who hunted the pheasent down?" she called, attracting other cat's attention. Pelt burning, Whirlwind stood up. "I did," she muttered. Star and Spirit poked their heads out, looking at the commotion. Moonkit squealed as she tried to scramble out of the nursery. Spirit pushed her back with her tail.

ooc: Lol Pearl and Lightning are now split up, even though they have had two litters together Lightning goes to Everclear after that lol

ic: Brightpaw looked around at the other herbs, and sniffed delecately. "Theres a herb missing," she confirmed. "I'm not sure what it is though."

Swiftpaw and Amberpaw watched their parents fighting, and wondered if they were going to split up. (Oh Amber, Bright and Swift end up hating Pearl, and Ripple just doesnt care [he's a bit thick])

Rippleshade looked from his father to his mother, trying to piece together what was happening.

OOC-Lol, Willow! Will Lighting and Ever have kits? And why do Swift, Amber and Bright end up hating Pearl?

IC-Lunapaw went over to Swiftpaw and Amberpaw and said "Imagine how I feel. My parents splitting up pratically caused this war!"

I have no idea. Lol i was bored :3

Amberpaw looked at Lunapaw. "Wow, you must feel terrible!" she said sympathetically.
