This topic is where we can talk about *squel* the Hunger Games! I think we also will be making a Hunger Games RP, which should be out on March 23rd. Maybe. Hopefully. Anyway here we can talk about the books and the movies!

Okay so I am going to tell everyone all of the districts and what they do, since uh thats kinda my thing.

District 1-Luxury Items
District 2-Military and Mining
District 3-Machines, Technology and Factories
District 4-Fishing
District 5-Power
District 6-Transportation
District 7-Lumber
District 8-Textiles
District 9-Grain
District 10-Livestock
District 11-Farming
District 12-Mining
District 13-Nuclear Power and Mining

I would still be District 4. But, I like District 5 as well since that is where Foxface comes in and apparently, they aren't as poor or as starving as the other districts.
What district would you be?

District.... Erm... Well, I like District 3 but I am not a big fan of technology, so District 11? Or 10. Actually, I don't mind where you put me in.

Oh, um....we are not starting the Hunger Games Rp just yet....but I guess we can begin to plan it.....

Obviously, I will be in District 4 and I think Eagle as well.

Also I was thinking that the first arena should so totally be.........a Mountain region! Like there could be all sorts of mountains and valleys and some mountains could be snowy, foresty, rocky, etc.
Or we could do a tundra, taiga, desert or a swamp. Or a field.
Anyone of those would work! lol

Also, Eagle did you make Convocation?

YES! DISTRICT FOUR!!!!!!! I WILL WIN IT FOR FINNICK!! sort of rhyme

I say we do all snowy mountains/terrain, but no forest really. Or desert, etc, whatever.

Oh yeah you have Convocation in your school too. No, I didn't make it but then I was pretty happy about it because then I could see the midnight premiere of the HG if I wanted to instead of "sleeping well" for Convocation the next day. Did you make it?

So a mountain region with valleys and stuff? And it will be all snowy and stuff, right? Oh and we could also have a tundra where the Cornucopia could be! But there has to be wood for fires (It is a rule, for a game with no rules....lol)

Yeah I made Convocation. As such we are not going to see the Hunger Games.













JK! LOL We will still be seeing it since Convocation is only from 8:30-2:15. And the movie is a midnight release on friday, which is the last day of Convocation so yeah.
Did they pick the stories out by who had the best stories?

Also did you know all of those districts and what they did and stuff?

I know, I just felt like saying. I can go for almost anything. Almost.

About the districts... No, I kinda guessed.

I think they picked the best writing, like maybe according to ASK grading or something.

Yeah I knew most of the districts from the book or once I searched it on Wikipedia. But that was infomative.

Actually, Eagle, I found out the premiere is 12:01 on Thursday night so they consider it the next day of March 23rd! ARGH! That is confusing! Would you rather go see it on the midnight priemere or would you want to see it on another time on Friday?

Anyway, for the HG RP I think we should maybe wait a little bit. Because like in the warriors, we can't decide everything ahead of time. This, has to be completely random. So I am going to be observing how the Hg Rps do it and how they deal with things like that. So yeah.

Also I was thinking that the Cornucopia is like in a small little valley surrounded by mountains. To the north of the mountains is cliffs with a huge drop to a cold, brutal ocean below. In the south there is endless plains, where one can everything for miles. To the east is a hot desert, that can be useful and deadly to a Tribute. And last in the west is the only major water source, a lake with many rivers, streams and tributaries in a marshy field area. Along with that there can be other landmarks and of course there will be all sorts of dangerous surprises....hahaha!

Awesome! Ehh, when I first read it, it sounded like the four Clans, except I don't think there is lava? I can't really remember.


Too bad, we probably can't see the Hunger Games in Beijing.

If you guys have Youtube you might be able to see the movie in little snipets. Lol, that is how I watch all my anime shows....

About the movie, I don't really have a preference. What do the other people coming think? The midnight premere is the midnight premere, but we have school and stuff. IDK

For the arena...do we have to make it all diverse? can't we just focus on mountains?

Youtube is blocked but I do have VPN...

Unless it's one of those movies that are not allowed to be put on the web because it's protected by some law or something.

Even if YouTube is blocked, when you go to America you can get/watch the movie and done & done!

For the arena, I guess so....so will just be rocky and snowy mountains with valleys, filled with all sorts of death traps for the Tributes to just wander into? But that is really how it happens

For the movie, I talked to some other people and my friend who is seeing it on the midnight premiere also wants to come and see it the day after, with us. I talked to some people and they either don't care or would like to see it after Friday. One boy asked to see it after 11:00! Since there is some dance....that I am not going to.....a Social Dance or something like that...
So I am thinking Friday night. I still have to talk to some people, but when we have it all figured out with time and everything I will tell you when it will be. Would you want to come to my house? Or would you rather go right to the theater?

Yes on Friday we have a Social Dance. Why don't you go?! Whatever. -_-

I guess I would rather go to the thearter, or whatever one is preferred. Probably theater. Friday sounds good!

Well apparently, you got a email in the begginning of the year and you had to sign up for them, right? But our computer was not working when they sent them so we missed the deadline! And I wanted to go

Theater might work better....but I will have to see how tommorrow works out. Tommorrow.....shall be an interesting day, indeed!

Hey, guess what? Our local librarian loves these books so much that she hosted a Hunger Games party when the movie came out. It was amazing! There was trivia and we LITERALLY ran to a Corn. Of course, we didn't hit each other, we just had to grab items.

My favorite district is district five, but when we RP I'll probably pick District two.

Our librarian also had a Hunger Games party because it was becoming a movie. She always does that; when a book becomes a movie she throws a party. My friends and I were District 4! And there was like trivia, a physical challenge and a weapon/equipement grab.
We thought we would win, but District 2 beated us!
