Sunclan Woods

Sunclan's Woods
A small forest on the edge of island, it is home to abundant amounts of prey and herbs. There are a few ponds and streams that lie in the woods. The trees are clumped together into small groups with big clearings in between the gaps of the tree groups. The woods are barely ever used, due to the fact that Sunclan are better at hunting out in the open.

Dawnkit stumbled over a trailing tree-root. "Hurry up!" she hissed to Coalkit, smiling kindly. "They'll catch us if you dont hurry up!"

Coalkit was on a tree, and he leaped down onto Dawnkit. "SURPRISE!" Then he pulled himself and Dawnkit into a bush. "There might be patrols here!"

Okay if your wondering my cats have habits of facepawing themselves. Im not gonna deny it lol :]

Dawnkit squeaked in surprise and huddled herself down in the bush to hide from any passing cats. "This is soooooo much fun!" she squealed in excitement then facepawed herself in stupidity. Stupid mouse brain! There could be patrols around!

ooc: LOL, Willow.
ic: Blackhole padded around in the forest. "Coalkit! Dawnkit!" Coalkit heard his father's calling, and whispered. "Should we get out or move on?"

Eagletalon padded into the forest to have her "talk" with Darkstream. To contradict her thoughts, she unsheathed her claws and tore up a wad of moss with a claw swipe.

"So, are you ready to have this 'tal' Eagletalon?" said Darkstream as she smiled, wickedly. She would win this 'talk'! (I am making it sound like a debate )

Fire-eye hid behind some bushes. He had rolled around in some grass and herbs to mask his scent. When the 'talk' began he would leap out and kill Eagletalon!

OOC-So Eagletalon gets mortally wounded but is able to heal herself and returns in the last battle, right? And what is Dark's excuse that Eagle is gone?

Dawnkit pressed herself into the bush even further. "Oh holy Spiritclan!" she said "We better get moving - Eagletalon and Darkstream are here!" she flattened herself to the ground, and raced off towards the camp, not bothering to look for Coalkit following.

ooc: yeah, that's the gist of it. You can decided, either make it so she attacked Darkstream and deserted the clan (like Darkstream is still the good guy) or Eagletalon went to the Moonrock to get her nine lives, etc. And their fight now should be like at least a few posts before Fire-eye comes in.

ic: Eagletalon took a deep breath, like she was going to talk, but then looked like she had decided otherwise. "Eh, skip it." In a lighting swoop, she leaped high in the air above Darkstream, blotting out the sunlight filtering from the trees. She crashed down at a diagonal, pushing Darkstream back a few tail-lengths with her momentum. Eagletalon started to slash with her long claws.

OOC-Ok

IC-With a yowl, Darkstream put up her paws, unsheathed her claws and began slashing at Eagletalon's face.

Eagletalon instinctively jumped backwards. Blood roaring in her ears, she parried with a paw, claws clashing on claws. Using her other free paw, she spun on it to fling her hind claws in Darkstream's face in a deadly arc.

"TELL ME ALL YOUR SECRETS EAGLETALON!" screeched Darkstream.

IC-Darkstream jumped back, but stumbled a little at the end of her jump. She fell to the ground.

OOC-When should Fire come in? How many more posts?

ooc: lol.

ic: Eagletalon advanced upon Darkstream, claws stained red with blood. Darkstream's blood. She hissed, "You will go confess to the clan what you did, or I will force a confession out! That fight was only the revenge!"

ooc: Uh, like now.

OOC-Blood has a new meaning to me *shudders*

IC-Fire-eye burst out of the shadows, and with claws unsheathed, tackled Eagletalon to the ground. He then got up and stabbed his claws into her belly, again and again and again.

Darkstream watched with a smile on her face.

ooc: oh holy SpiritClan it makes me want to make all my cats pacifists. *shudder*

ic: Eagletalon was caught totally off guard. The pain stabbing into her belly was worse than the kitting. She managed to turn so her innards wouldn't be damaged and to catch the side of Fire-eye's face with a powerful swipe that hopefully blinded and scarred him, but her energy was leaking out like her blood. "OH YOU PIECE OF FOX DUNG-" she started to scream before she blacked out. Blood slowly made a puddle around her still form.

OOC-I know! But that wouldn't be all that bad lol

IC-"How did I do?" asked Fire-eye as he got off Eagletalon as her blood pooled around her.

"Its so beautiful it makes me want to cry!" exclaimed Darkstream as she went over and nuzzled with him.

And with that, the two left back for camp.

Eagletalon's last thoughts echoed in her mind as it faded to black. Badger potatoes... Her breathing became fainter and fainter until one couldn't tell she was alive unless it was a trained medicine cat.

ooc: Badger... Potatoes...?
ic: Coalkit raced out, unfortunately bumped into Blackhole. Blackhole growled. "Ah, there you are. Long talk awaits when we go back to camp." Coalkit grumbled as Blackhole picked him back and dragged him toward the camp.

ooc: lol long story.

ic: Eagletalon lay. In the woods. Technically dead. For a long time. Then, she lifted her head to stare at her wounds. "That piece of crowfood," she growled, referring to Darkstream and crony Fire-eye. Her wound screamed in pain as she moved, but she ignored it, quashing it until it barely existed in her mind. Now sitting, although hunched over, she gazed towards the camp. it would be impossible to go unless she wanted to be truly finished off. Eagletalon gingerly checked her wound, guessing that the dried blood was strong enough to preven further blood from leaking out, and thought of only place she could recover in peace. Determined now, she got up- only to stumble from blood loss. "Yeah, I'll just sit here for a bit..."

Hmm....do I remember Badger Potatoes? Very slightly....

ooc: How could you forget badger potatoes?

So I think Eagletalon will go to the Old Camp to recover.

ic: Eagletalon slowly rose so the scabs wouldn't crack, and then hobbled to her destination.

Aquanight dragged Coalpaw in the woods and dropped him before a tree. "Ok"
Aquanight mewed. "This is the way you carrie moss." Suddenly, flash of memory went through her mind. Eagletalon... Died here? She shook his head. She can't just carry Eagletalon back to camp. She will definitely get killed. Coalpaw hesitated in the sudden silence. "Aquanight?" Aquanight pushed away the thought quickly. She took some moss and rolled it into a ball, and carried it in her chest. Coalpaw bursted out laughing. "What? Are you kidding me?" He chuckled. "This looks lame!" Aquanight smiled and mewed. "Don't forget your father and mother both did this before." Coalpaw froze. Was he the only one who felt the scary aura behind Aquanight? Before he can react, Aquanight bit on another moss ball. "Hohhy he! (Copy me!)" Coalpaw nodded. Wow, I understood! He copied Aquanight, trying not to laugh. He headed back to the camp. Aquanight realized a thing. Oops, I forgot to take him to explore the territory. I bet the only place he know other then the camp is this forest and the dirt place. Ok, I'll take him tomorrow.

Primrose led Yellowpaw out of the camp entrance. "Well, here we are. Let your senses run wild. Get happy. Notice everything." Primrose said, breathing deeply.

Yellowpaw ran wild, got happy, and noticed everything. She noticed a caterpillar, for instance, and tried to catch it without hurting it, but of course failed.

ooc: lol that sounds weird

Primrose purred. "Yellowpaw, maybe think about smelling as well as looking? You need to open up all your senses," she explained. "Like for instance, i can smell that a squirell was here a few minutes ago, and headed that way," she pointed towards Moonclan territory. "There is also a patch of wild garlic near here. Do you know what that's good for?"

Yellowpaw was watching the caterpillar slowly inch away. "Huh? Um, okay. And garlic is good for, um, smelling bad," she mewed absentmindedly. She went to smell things, nose to the ground.

Primrose looked at her apprentice. Gosh, im horrible at this! she thought. "Umm, Yellowpaw? Wild garlic is good for rat bites, to get rid of infection. And this is how you hunt squirrel," Primrose fell into the hunting position, and raced away, jumping on the squirrel and killing it quickly and cleanly. "See?" she said.

Yellowpaw mewed, "How do you know that?" But then she saw the squirrel. She walked over, poked it, and felt a strange emotion well up inside her.
Yellowpaw started bawling. "It's dead now how could you kill it?" she blubbered. "What did the squirrel ever do to you? Hurting things is bad!" She ran away with the squirrel, sobbing.

Primrose groaned. "Oh no. I really shouldnt have done that.... Yellowpaw! It's okay! You eat squirrels!" she said, racing off to find her apprentice.

Yellowpaw ran crying deeper into the woods. She found a suitable spot near a clump of pink flowers and began to dig a grave for the slain squirrel. After it was about half a tail-length deep, she gently laid the squirrel inside, covering its wounds with a blanket of moss. She filled the hole, sniffling, and noticed her claws were blunted from digging. That's okay, she thought, I won't use them anyway. Unless my friends or the innocent are at stake, she vowed, quite a serious promise for an undersized, just apprentice cat. As an after thought, she placed a few acorns on the grave, both a marker and a memento. Yellowpaw ran towards the camp to find Primrose.
