Oceanclan Jungle

Oceanclan's Jungle
A large jungle that covers the majority of Oceanclan territory. The jungle is usually very moist and has numerous streams and rivers that run through it. The jungle has small dirt trails that crisscross over the jungle that are frequently used by the cats when they are trying to get through the jungle quickly. Prey is abundant here and most cats come here if they want to hunt.

Willow followed Dustkit, with the others bouncing behind her. She spotted an old fallen tree covered with moss. "Kits!" she called "I found some moss. Now, here's what you do..." she showed them how to flick their claws across the base of the moss and not get any of the roots. She smiled, becuase it usually took her a few goes. "Now you try," she said, looking at Tigerkit.

Leafpaw, Seapaw and Aurorapaw stayed behind the kits. It was a bit dangerous out here without a warrior but it was exciting too.

Tigerkit nodded excitedly, and flicked his paws just like how Willow did. He made a small ball of moss, purring happily at his work.

Leafpaw couldn't stand it anymore. "Great work!" She purred. "But look, there's a bit of dirt and dirty things in there. We can't use it for bedding, because it's a bit small, but it's a wonderful ball of moss for a game of Moss Toss!"
ooc: I made that name up off the top of my head, so it sounds a bit weird...

Tigerkit purred, then Flowerkit sneezed. Iciclekit looked at his sister, remembering that they should be with Lilyfeather, warm and dry. "We should go back?"

"Maybe we should?" Seapaw cocked his head. "We don't have a warrior out with us, after all."

"Okay, lets head back, and see the new kit with your mother!" said Willow, limping steadily towards the camp.

"Are we all here and ready?" asked Darkstream.

"Yes." said Apricotpaw.

Jaywing nodded and unsheathed his claws on instinct. Then he sheathed them again.
ooc: BTW Ocean, is it okay if I make a new topic in other places rp? I didn't know where to start RPing my big bunch of warriors....

OOC-Wait what warriors? And what would it be called?

IC-"Spread out in a straight line and walk up and down. We must do this quickly and quietly. Be sure they know where the new border is from now on!" said Darkstream as she began walking away to make the border.

Fire-eye began to follow Darkstream.

Apricotpaw sighed and walked in the opposite direction of Darkstream and Fire-eye. She hoped that someone else would come with her, so you know, she wouldn't be mauled by an Oceanclan warrior.

ooc: Oh, my Stars.
And, I'm thinking of calling it a Mix-Match of Different Clans.
If that is not okay, I'll just try to fit them in in the different clans RPs.
ic: Jaywing walked after Apricotpaw.

OOC-Sure then, I guess. If they are rogues, loners or kittypets just rp as them in those places.

Blackhole mumbled under his breath. Typical. He followed the patrol almost doing nothing, wondering what would Eagletalon sat if she wakes up.

ooc: are the warriors going back to SunClan after they reset the border? Otherwise I was going to wake Eagletalon up.

ic: Leafpaw, silent since he talked to Apricotpaw, closely followed Darkstream. He wrinkled his nose at the stench of OceanClan; it was so...different. Looking around him carefully at every step in the unknown territory, he began to set the new border.

Blackhole sighed. He was worried about Leafkit, and all the other kits who he had left behind. He knew Aquanight and the other warriors and queens would take care of them, but he was still worried.

OOC: I sent a PM to Ocean requesting Darkstream back. It's okay, we will both share her. So when I am not on, Ocean will play her and vice versa.

IC: Darkstream looked sternly at her cats as they set about to work. She would have to toughen these mousebrains up! In the meantime, she watched them work. She planned her next move and how she would change Sunclan. But first, her mother would be avenged.

ooc: I think that's fine. :3
ic: Jaywing sighed as he reluctantly set the new border.

Novafox padded into the thicket of the jungle, her sensitive ears picking up the tiniest rustles of small animals as they flitted through the forest. Slowing down to a gentle trot, she followed her ears till she reached the slowly flowing river, tall reeds casting shadows over the water. Taking a deep breath in, she stopped a little bit away from the reeds, pausing and waiting for the other warrior and the apprentice to catch up.

Starpaw, panting slightly from effort to keep up and impress the older cats sat down next to Novafox, her bright yellow ears, tail-tip and paws standing out from her jet-black fur. Starpaw's icy blue eyes searched the reeds for movement, excited to get her hunting lesson started.

Windflight followed behind, walking silently. She stopped beside Novafox.

"We will have to continue moving upstream once we catch our first vole," Novafox whispered. "in order to find new prey. But first, watch."

Novafox crouched down, her belly brushing silently against the floor. Bright green eyes peering through the reeds, she saw the flicker of a plump gray body. Her dark red fur blended in with the dark brown clay-like mud of the bank of the river. She took one step closer, then another, feeling the mud squish through her paws and in between her toes as she got closer and closer to the waterline. Then, she spotted her target. Small and dark brown, it was chewing on a reed it had pulled up from the riverbed. Getting closer and closer, Novafox's paw squelched slightly, notifying the vole that it's end was near. It shot off towards the water as fast as it's legs could carry it, but the cat was faster. Her powerful hind legs pushed her off to the bank, her paw reaching out and catching the vole, swatting it back towards the bank. it flew through the air, heading straight towards Windflight as she landed with a splash in the water.

Windflight's paw shot out as she clamped down the vole with one paw. She unsheathed her claws and killed it swiftly.

Sighing, Novafox looked down in distaste at her soggy fur. "See, volehunting.." She began, dragging her body out of the water. "Is often a partner hunt, but if one of you can swim well..." She began grooming herself and spoke between licks. "You... Dont... Need... Any... Help." Now on the soft riverbank, she headed upstream. "Now it's your turn. Any suggestions, Windflight?"

ooc: *Randomly hops in* Shouldn't you....... Wait that was Shi? Er........ Nevermind. I thought Shi (?) could let Darkstream and Fire-eye go back to SunClan camp or something. Yeah. Bye.

Windflight bit her tongue to stop herself from purring, though her tail curled up with amusement. "If you hunt alone, make sure that you are confident of your silent swimming skills. Chances are, if you rush up to the vole, it will hear you, and run away. Swim silently, slowly if you must, and when you are in pouncing range, pounce and grab it firmly, then kill it."

"And remember!" Novafox warned, dragging her body up the river, weighed down by thick fur. "They have teeth. Sharp teeth. So watch yourself."


Starpaw nodded, silently taking all of this in. She knew her light body and short, silky, jet black fur helped become an incredible swimmer, /so hunting alone probably should not be a problem.../ She thought to herself, holding in a chuckle at soggy Novafox padding up the river.

Windflight started laughing. Novafox looked hilarious. She quickly changed her laugh into a cough. "Furball." Windflight gasped as she looked away.

Novafox narrowed her eyes half-heartdely. "OH I'm sorry i couldn't hear you!" novafox exclaimed sarcastically, padding over and beginning to rub her wet fur all over Windflight. "Why don't i move in closer so I can hear you! Speak, dearie!" Novafox said, holding back her laughter as she shook off all of the water onto her warrior friend.

Windflight could have facepalmed if she could. She purred, shaking off all the water on her pelt, and splattering it everywhere. "Furball! That's what I said." Windflight gasped.

"Darn rightcha did!" Novafox exclaimed, indignantly heading back upstream, her fur even more rustled up and stuck out than its usual smooth, glossy appearance. Her white tail tip flicked water right at Starpaw's face as she quickly quietd down. "I see it. Over by the brown reeds. Find it, stalk it, and hunt it." She ordered, whispering.

Starpaww nodded. Her sleek black coat rippled over young and well toned muscles as her unusual bright and piercing yellow eyes spotted her prey. She stalked it, creamy yellow dipped paws sinking into the mud. She kept her tail tip low so it's bright color would not be spotted by the vole. Waiting until she got just close enough, she lost her balance and her shoulder brushed against the reeds, rustling them. Awaiting the vole's movements, she shoved off into the water, but the thin vole was a little faster. She had to dive. The vole swam for it's life, but the cat was stronger. Taking a deep breath, Starpaw dove down and retrieved the vole in her jaws, emerging triumphantly, panting through her nose, entire coat soaked as she paddled back to shore.

Have we finished setting up the new border? Also, if so anyone is free to find the new border in the jungle!

Lionscar was tracking a mouse in the jungle. He crouched down and went near it, but stood up, his eyes wide with horror. He ignored the mouse running away. Lionscar sniffed again. He didn't make a mistake. He smelled SunClan cats, and the border was renewed.

Windflight meowed, "Well done!" Then her nose twitched. She smelled Lionscar. But there was this scent... Strong scent. SunClan! Windflight's eyes widened with horror. Waving her tail, she beckoned Novafox and Starpaw to follow her. She prowled through the undergrowth until she reached the place where the scent was strongest. She tasted the air. Definitely SunClan. But why was the border here, when it should be back there?

Leafpaw had finished his part of resetting the border when he saw a few OceanClan cats prowling around. Eyes widening in surprise, he ran over to his mentor and whispered, "Darkstream, Oceanclan cats have found our border. What should we do?"

"What do ya think?" hissed Darkstream. "Scram!" and with that Darkstream ran off, followed by a Apricotpaw who whispered "Hurry! Follow!" to the other cats of the patrol to leave as well.

Leafpaw silently followed the rest of his patrol, paws pounding on the ground. He couldn't resist making a funny face back at the OceanClan patrol, even though they probably couldn't see it. He then turned and bolted back to the group to run beside Apricotpaw.

ooc: Where to now, the Dunes?

Jaywing bit down on his sigh and followed.

Blackhole shook his head sadly as he followed the patrol. Snowstorm followed without saying a word. Crack He froze. He stepped on a twig. But he heard another cracking sound from the OceanClan cats, and he sighed a relief as he trotted away.
Lionscar blinked. "I think I just stepped on a twig." He turned around and faced the other cats. "We have to report this. Now." He waved his tail, signaling the other cats to follow him back to the camp.

Windflight nodded and walked after him.

Silvershadow padded through the jungle...looking for someone.

OOC-HollybellxSilvershadow, btw. He is going to find out about the border, tell Lava, and boom! Ya gotta battle!
Fun.

Hollybell ran through the forest and skidded to stop near Silvershadow, her mate. They had been seeing each other for some time now, but not recently due to the fact that Hollybell had been kinda busy with work... and other things.
"Hey." said Hollybell as she nuzzled Silvershadow.
"Its good to see you again." purred Silvershadow as he nuzzled back.
"Yeah, I have been busy with things...yeah." said Hollybell as she laughed.
"So," said Silvershadow ackwardly "when are the kits coming?"
"WHAT?" exclaimed Hollybell "H-how d-did you know?" she stuttered in suprise.
"Honey, I am a medicine cat. I know this things." said Silvershadow as he grinned.
Hollybell sighed and grinnee back "Soon. I bet in about a week or less. There is one or two kits. Hard to tell." she said looking off into the distance.
"Ahmmm." said Silvershadow, nodding his head.
"I've been thinking of some names for the-I, mean, our kits." she said.
"When should I move into the clan?" asked Silvershadow as he blinked.
"WHAT?" gapsed Hollybell, shocked. "I-i didn't expect you to move into the clan at all! I mean, I hoped you would...but..." she said as her voice trailed off.
"Of course, I would!" said Silvershadow proudly. "They are our kits and even if we didn't have kits, I would still move in to be with you more." he said as he purred softly.
"Okay then. I am glad. Um...whenever is good, I guess. But you don't have to you know. Like leave your clan. I mean you are the medicine cat for crying out loud. They need you." she said.
"No, you need me, Hollybell. Besides, Ivoryfang is a great medicine cat and it is time for her and Clearpaw to take on the role of medicine cat... stuff." he said.
"Okay, then." said Hollybell as she purred.
"So, names. Any ideas?" he asked as he and Hollybell walked toward the Oceanclan Beach, tails entwined.

Spiderpaw and Darkpaw stayed close to Kiteclaw as they began to look for herbs. What if they crossed the new Sunclan border? Would Sunclan rip them to shreds?

Starfall padded throughout Oceanclan, ready and waiting for any battle. She quickly called the apprentices over. "I want to lay down some ground rules, just in case we may be attacked. Apprentices, you run. Split up and run as fast as you possibly can. Zig-zag, and try to confuse the cats. Head back to camp and alert a patrol, while Kiteclaw and I hold them off." She ordered, her golden-amber eyes burned serious.

The 2 apprentices nodded their heads silently in unsion.

"Kiteclaw, Take Spiderpaw, I'll take Darkpaw." Starfall grinned. "We'll hit the trees, Darkpaw. Let's go!" She smiled and padded off.
