Oceanclan Rp

Oceanclan Territory:Oceanclans territory is divided into two parts, the northern part and the southern part. The northern part is a jungle with palm trees and other tropical trees. It is easy to find herbs and there is lot of light in the jungle, making it easy to see your way around. The northern most part is the beach. The beach is a large strip of warm golden sands that line the ocean. There are large rocks on the beach that the cats use to sun themselves and sleep. The soft sand makes a great nest! In the ocean there is a large coral reef and cats swim out to it to explore and hunt, but mostly explore. There are two large rivers in the northern part that crisscross the jungle part. One of them has a source in the small hills that border the southern part and the northern part of the territory. The other comes off as a stream from the other river and then meets up with the stream from the Oceanclan Camp and form a smaller river then the other one, but still a good river. The two rivers then meet and form a big river which flows out into the ocean in the islands northeastern corner. The big river is deep, fast-flowing and dangerous and prone to flooding so cats don't go there often. The smaller rivers are more peaceful. The one from Oceanclans camp is slow-moving but very deep-great for fishing! The other river from the hills is slow-moving, bigger but not that deep. The southern part of the territory is a large barren desert wasteland. There are no rivers there and no trees. There are only bushes, shrubs and some herbs. Oceanclan cats do not usually go into this part of their territory that often. Here there lives foxes in small little hollows. The foxes usually stay put in this part of the territory and do not stray into the northern part, but if they do it can become a serious problem to Oceanclan. There are small, sandy and grassy hills that has little ponds that are the border for the northern and southern territories. The hills surround the entire southern part of Oceanclans territories and serve as the border line for the other clans territories. The eastern part of this territory is the coast, and the western, southern and northern parts are the hills. In the hills to the south there is an ancient twoleg village that is deserted and other twoleg ruins from long ago.

Oceanclan Camp: Oceanclans camp is a large clearing by the ocean, so close you hear the waves crashing on the shore. Their camp walls are made out of branches found on the beach and large flat rocks. They also use seaweed to bind pieces of the walls together but on extremely hot or cold days the seaweed bindings may crack so they have to be checked. Oceanclans camp has a pond in the back part of their camp with a little stone ledge behind it that serves as the Leaders place to make announcemnts. Nothing too fancy but the cats can see the leader still while the leader still shows off some power. The pond is cold, clear and pure water that the cats use to drink. It is not that deep so kits can fall in and will not drown or get hurt. The bottom is smooth white rock. In some extreme droughts in the past it has been known to dry up. Coming from the pond that separates the clan in half is a small stream of water. It is small only about two feet wide. It goes from the pond, its source, to out of the camp through a small hole, big enough to let the water out but small enough to keep curious kits in. The stream is not that deep at all and is only a few inches deep so it poses no harzard to kits. It is cold and calm and it refreshing to put your paws in the stream. Like the pond, in droughts, the stream has dryed up. The ground in the camp is soft, short grass with sand underneath it instead of dirt. What might be a back entrance to other clans is actually a front entrance. The entrance is always closest to the ocen to let the breeze and the sounds of the ocean come to the camp more clearer. The order of the dens are, from the entrance, warriors den, nursery, and then medicien cats den, on the left side of the camp. On the right side of the camp the dens are, from the entrance, apprentices den, elders den, deputies den, and then leaders den. When you enter the camp you come from the ocean side or the north side and are able to see the stream, the pond and the stone ledge. The stream turns as it reaches the entrance to the camp goes in between the entrance and the apprentices den through a little hole. The dens are made from seaweed, branches, flat stones, and grass. The seaweed and the grass hold them together.

Oceanclan Wildlife: Oceanclan usually eats fish but they also eat mice, voles, shrews, and a rare squirrel or rabbit. Badgers don't often stray into their territory. In the southern barren part of their territory there are usually more mice, voles, shrews and rabbits. There are also foxes in that part of the territory, but because Oceanclan rarely goes into that part of their territory they don't worry about it that much. They also have tapirs, capybaras, okapi, bears, bats, tropical birds, monkeys, and tropical eagles in their territory. The tapirs, capybaras, okapi, bats, monkeys, and tropical birds are not much of a problem to Oceanclan seeeing as they are vegetarians. the tropical bears eat only berries or ants so they are not that much of a problem either. The tropical eagles on the other are a nusicance. They can snatch kits that leave the camp and nest in tall trees. So can grow big enough to big up and carry off warriors! Usually Oceanclan does its best by trying to run them out of the territory. They best stragety to get rid of an eagle would either be to destroy its nest or kill it with a patrol. Both are risky. Luckily there are not that many eagles on Oceanclans territory, only three to five but their numbers can swell greatly at rare times. Oceanclan don't usually hunt birds, capybaras, tapirs, or monkeys since they prefer the food they eat.

Oceanclan Traits: Relaxed, calm, laidback, somewhat lazy and easily adaptable to change. They are like the ocean, most of the time calm and peaceful, but at other times as angry and as wild as a storm. They are able to adapt to change very well, just like the ocean. They are usually peaceful with the other clans because partly they are a peaceful clan and partly because they are too lazy to go to battle! Their enemy is most of the time Sunclan. They are friends with Lavaclan. Whenever Oceanclan gets into a battle with Sunclan, almost alyways Lavaclan comes in as well to help them out. Lavaclan and Oceanclan are like BFFs! Though it is against the Warrior Code, Lavaclan and Oceanclan cats mate with each other since they are so friendly. They have tried to make it legal in the past but it was denied and nothing happened. They are great swimmers and can hold their breath for a long time under water. Every now and then though, you will meet an Oceanclan cat who is either, a bad swimmer, afriad of the water, or can't hold their breath that long. These cats are called by Oceanclan, Sandcats, cats who prefer to stay on the sand. They like to relax on the warm sands of their beach while listening to the ocean, chatting with their friends or just plain sleeping. They can get work done but don't like to do that much work. The other clans always teases them for their laziness. Oceanclan is kinda a mixture of Riverclan and Thunderclan. They like to collect pretty things like feathers and shells and use them to decorate their nest or their den. They are clever and graceful. They mainly eat fish but also eat many other land creatures.

Oceanclan History: Oceanclan was founded by Oceanshine. She along with five other cats, Lavafall, Moonwater, Sunflame, Dawnwillow, and Twilightclaw. These six cats were the last descendants of Snowclan, who were trying to preserve the ancient clans traditions. They then met up and decided to make a warrior clan, like Snowclan to spread the traditiopns to other cats. They quickly decided not to make one clan because then they would all fight over who would be leader and no clan would be made. Oceanshine made Oceanclan, after her name like the rest of the leaders and found rogue cats that, like her, could swim well, could hold their breath long underwater, and were laidback, clever, and calm. Oceanshine fell in love with Lavafall, Lavaclans founding leader and he returned her feelings. They became mates and had five kits. Sunflame, the founder of Sunclan, hated these kits. It was against the warrior code to take a mate from another clan. Lavafall was her cousin and he should know better. So she, along with her clan, attacked Oceanclan, where Oceanshine and the kits were, and killed two of them and hurt another. Ever since then Oceanclans enemy was Sunclan, for what they had done in the past and what they still did in the present. Lavafall and Oceanshine were sad and angry and formed and allegiance and attacked Sunclan which resulted into a short war. Oceanclan and Lavaclan won. Oceanclan wanted to chase Sunclan out, Lavafall forgave Sunclan, as Sunflame was his cousin and told Oceanclan to let them be. Oceanshine still had a grudge on Sunclan, and ever since then, Oceanclan has hated Sunclan and Sunclan Oceanclan. Lavaclan was able to forgive and forget but in a battle they will still side with Oceanclan but are always ready to forgive.

ic: My cats rode Lapras towards safer area.

Something pulled Fireblaze up into the sky. It was Reshiram. He screamed and struggled. Reshiram smiled. "You'll be okay......" and Reshiram placed him on a tall hill where the water didn't reach.

They arrived at dry land. Windflight looked up and saw Fireblaze flying. "Hi Fireblaze! How are you doing?" She yowled.

Fireblaze landed. "Um... good..." still shocked.

Forestwing yowled in shock as the log flipped over. She was pushed back into the fast flowing water.

Hawkpaw screamed and fell in. She was lucky she didn't get trapped under the log and immediately resurfaced.

Whisperpaw was not so lucky. He tried to get air but smashed his face on the log. Dazed, he drifted deeper.

Reshiram smiled. "I'll go save other cats." Fireblaze nodded slowly. "o...k...?"

Forestwing sawm in circles against the current.

Whisperpaw drifted towards the bottom when he was picked up by something gliding by. The thing broke the waters surface and whisperpaw gasped fo air. Looking up, he saw LATIOS!!

Hawkpaw felt herself being scooped out of the water. "WhaAaat?!" she yowled. She looked at the thing carrying her threw the air, it was LATIAS.

Fireblaze gasped. "Those creatures are saving cats!" Arceus came. It growled. "What is this non-sence Lugia!?" Lugia ignored it.

ooc: Why non-sence? Not nonsense?
ic: My cats lay down on the ground, exhausted. They kept on coughing up water.

Whatever.
Arceus and Lugia disappeared.

My cats coughed, and coughed, and coughed, until they couldn't cough anymore.

Dustkit fell asleep. She was shivering from cold.
Windflight gently ruffled her fur the wrong way so Dustkit would stop shivering.

My cats did things.

OOC-I believe they were drowning.

IC-Laurelpaw and Aromapaw hit them water and were taken away from the others. They were washed away. They then lost consciousness and Aromapaw saw a kit-a black kit and a brown kit. Recently born they suckled their loving mother while their proud father watched over them. She heard a faint whisper in her ear and saw that one would be great and the other would be a murderer. The murderer of W-! That was it. It had ended.
Laurelpaw saw a vision of two odd cats sitting in a tree with a giant bird. Odd....she thought. And she thought that that bird looked smarter then both of them. Odd again. It too ended.
The two washed ashore next to Seapaw and Fireblaze, still unconscious.

Oceanstorm and the rest of my cats flailed around in the fast water, trying to grab on to something. But they did not need to anymore. Because they had felt it! They had felt-
Land.
They stepped on land for the first time that day since the wave hit, pure amazing land yowled and purred with happiness. They saw other cats nearby. Seapaw and Fireblaze were near as well as Laurelpaw and Aromapaw who were now waking up. My cats run all over the land, happy to be back on-
Land.

Fireblaze yawned. "I'm going to sleep. Wake me up if something happens......" He fell asleep.

"Wake up!" Seapaw yowled. "Just because. Wait, don't, we all need to rest." He fell asleep immediately. My other charries fall alseep.

agghhhhhhh!! OCEAN!! You make me so happy. Aroma!! Yaaaaay!!

Forestwing pulled herself up onto land and smiled. Then she looked for whisperpaw and hawkpaw.

Hawkpaw saw forestwing and shook her fur a bit, glad her mother was safe. Then she fell asleep.

Whisperpaw reached land last. He pulled himself onto the wet ground and collapsed.

Fireblaze dreamed about Aquapaw. He woke up and shooked his head wildly. I have to... Forget about her! Come on, Fireblaze, concentrate on your clan life!

Forestwing saw fireblaze shaking his head. "water in your ears?" she asked kindly.

Hawkpaw slept.

Whisperpaw laid on the beach. He was to tired to move.

Seapaw woke up suddenly. "Weird dream." He whispered to no one.
Windflight woke up and stretched. She padded over to Dustkit. "I believe you wanted to know about my mother. I just dreamed about here. Wanna hear?" Dustkit bounced up and down s l o w l y. She was very exhausted. "Yes..."
Windpaw snarled softly. He hates it when cats ignore him.

Fireblaze shook his head. "I'm okay... just trying to forget about Aquapaw...... You know her... right?"

darkkit got swept by a wave of water and was draged all the way across the forest. but the water didn't pull him under, it pushed him up. "darkkit!!!!!" ravenfeather yelled
"im fine im just gona get swept to the other side of oceanclan....."he said and drifted off
"oof" darkkit said and looked up. it was deathwatcher!
"were is your mother!? what happened?" deathwatcher said.
"i don't know i got swept away from her, she is probubly on the other side of the forest."
"oh no raven......she is probubly so scared, wet, and alone" deathwatcher said with sarrow.

"darkkit!!!!" ravenfeather yelled. she jumped from ledge to ledge of the cliffside. she jumped into the water and tried to catch up with darkkit but couldn't and swam back to the cliff. she sat alone on her ledge and watched as the water level slowly withered down to the height of a cat's ankle. while waiting ravenfeather fell asleep in the sunlight bounching of the rock. she woke up to the sound of running water.
"wa?'' she looked to her side and saw a little waterfall running down the side of the cliff and down the slope. she looked down and saw that she was about 5 fox lenghts above ground.
"holy mackrill!" she said and relized she was talking to herself. she got up slowly and sleepily to her paws. she then proceded to jump from ledge to ledge down to the forest floor. when she got to the ground she realized that her fur was sundried and really warm. she looked around almost all the trees were gone. she sniffed the air. there was no scent of oceanclan or any clan for that mater. but a new smell made her nose tingle.....in a good way. it was a dark smell, like if a shadow was a smell it would smell like that. any other cat would have scrunched up their noses in distaste. but ravenfeather acepted the smell and liked it she followeed the smell into the forest far away from oceanclan.

Firebaze stretched and groomed himself.

yeah im back. i had a lot of test and i needed to study a lot. im so sucsessful......just kidding ha! oh blarge i can't talk anymore. i have to go socialize with humans now. bye

Fireblaze stretched. "......When is these water going to dry?"

OOC-Yay! Raven posted. Forestwing's mate is Icestar of Lavaclan. Mates between the two clans are not uncommon since they are so friendly to one another.

IC-Oceanstorm walked up the hill that all of the cats were on. He walked to the top and determined that they had been washed to the southern part of their territory. He then called "ATTENTION! OCEANCLAN! PLEASE REPORT UP HERE! NOW!" After that he looked at the water which was lowering down dramatically. Soon they would be able to return back to their camp. Their destroyed camp. But first he need to check what cats were safe and alive. And which ones were...dead.

Mockingjay shook her body from the water and seeing Oceanstorm call all the cats to gather at the top of the hill, she began walking up there. She looked around for her kits and saw that they were all right. Aromapaw, Laurelpaw, Blisspaw, and Kitepaw had all washed up on the shore. Aromapaw and Laurelpaw had fainted but they had woken up and were talking to their siblings. She smiled, because the diaster was finally over and none of her family had died! It looked like Oeanclan was going to survive after all.

Aromapaw and Laurelpaw woke up from their unconsciousness. Both of them had werid dreams. Laurelpaw's told Aromapaw and her other siblings who came over that hers was about a giant colorful bird and two cats sitting in a large nest. They all laughed at it and they thought she was werid. Aromapaw's dream was a bit more...dark. She said that she saw two kits and a mother. One kit was going to be great and the other would be the murder of- and then it ended. They shivered at the kit who would be a murdered and wondered what the visions meant.

Blisspaw and Kitepaw talked and chatted with their siblings as they walked up to the top of the hill to where their father was and where their mother was heading.

Hollybell washed on the shore and looked for that stupid Jasmineflame. She was afraid that she had died. Before she was angry at er but now all she really cared about was getting her only sister back. She saw her and she ran up to her and smacked with her tail before licking her fur. "Wha?" said Jasmineflame. "That was for upturning the boat and for being alive." she said with a smile and a crazed laugh. Together, they walked up to the top of the hill as they talked all about what had happened in the storm.

Vanillapetal washed up on the shore and walked up with the other cats to the top of the hill. She was worried. What was going to happen to Oceanclan? She looked around and then stopped. Over the next hill, by the beach there were...cats. And they weren't Oceanclan. Her fur bristled and she bit back a snarl. Not Sunclan, not Moonclan, not any clan! It was an unfamiliar smell but they all carred it so they must...be....a....clan?

OOC-Know who I am talking about? ^ Also Fun Fact of the Day about my Characters!:
Oceanstorm and Flashfire are distantly relatated, which also means that Silvershadow is relatated to Flashfire since Silvershadow is Oceanstorm's cousin. Also, Oceanstorm and Flashfire and Silvershadow are all relatated to a great medicine cat of long ago so that explains why they sometimes have rare visons and dreams. What it means for their children, who knows? But you can expect one of those family trees to produce a medicine cat for their clans.

Fireblaze shook water away from his body and padded across a wet field to Oceanstorm.

Fireblaze blinked. "Forestclan cat scent?" Auroralight looked before her. "Oceanclan?"

Dustfang looked around tentatively and smelled the air. "Hmmm...OceanClan. Let's go find their camp. I'm sure they will understand our predicatment; besides we have kits and elders with us."

Stormwind washed up besides Dustfang, Secretwih and her kits, etc. He coughed up water and then went to join them.

Smallpetal was unconsuios on the oceanclan shore.

Auroralight met Fireblaze. "Um... Hi? I'm Auroralight." Fireblaze smiled. "I'm Fireblaze." He looked behind her. "Looks like there was a storm." Auroralight nodded sadly. She saw Oceanstorm and gasped. "Um... Sorry..." And she backed off. "We had a storm.... We didn't mean to go in to your territory..."

ooc: Um the elemental kits Tiger made were already taken I think... Windkit and Seakit is now Windpaw and Seapaw, (mine) and there was Emberkit who was Flame's, and Starkit and Terrakit,(Tiger's).
ic: "Oh! ForestClan! I wonder what they are like!" Seapaw gasped. "Calm down." Windflight lay her tail on Seapaw's shoulder. "They are a clan, just like us, got it?" "Well, that's OBVIOUS." Windpaw snapped. "Windpaw? Did you step on a hedgehog or something?" Dustkit asked innocently. Windpaw snarled and unsheathed his claws.

Leafpaw blinked. "Sorry to disturb you!" She had knocked into Windpaw. She backed away.
"Hey! Be nicer to my sis!" Aurorapaw snarled. "Calm down!" Pansypaw hissed. "Yes, we are in their territory now." Dawnsky said calmly.

Fireblaze looked around the camp. "whoa... There's so much cats..." Auroralight looked at her Clancats sadly. "I know."

ic: "Mmm." Dawnsky padded over to Auroralight. "Would you like to share tongues?" She offered softly.
Seapaw blinked. "Windpaw, come back! What if you were ForestClan and you were caught in a flood?" "Well, we are OCEANCLAN and we know how to swim." Was the contempt reply. "Windpaw! Come back this instant!" Windflight said sharply. Windpaw snarled and stalked back. "What?"
"Uhh... We'll leave now, if you'd like." Leafpaw scampered away. "Leafpaw!" Aurorapaw rolled her eyes and bounded after her sister. Pansypaw gazed after his sisters. Then he turned to Windflight. "Who is your medicine cat?" He asked softly.

Auroralight blinked at Dawnsky. "Um... Yes please... Thanks." Fireblaze looked at his Clanmates. "Thanks."

Forestwing nodded "Oh I knew Aquapaw, she was such a sweet cat... Oh Oceanstorm is calling. I have to find Hawkpaw and Whisperpaw!" she ran off and saw Whisperpaw laying on the sand.

Whisperpaw looked up. "Hi mom" he said "I think I can get up now" so he got up.

Forestwing smiled. "Good, now where is-"

hawkpaw woke up and bounded over. "HEY GUYSSSS!" she said happily.

Forestwing walked off. "Oceanstorm summoned us, let's go!!". Then she added to herself, "even though thats my job!!"

Forestwing walked to Oceanstorm. "Forestclan...? What are they doing here?" she asked him.

Whisperpaw was silent but curious.

Fun fact: whisperpaw is Involved in a big prophecy. So is hawkpaw, a little bit. But now it seems like aromapaw is butting in. The prophecy is coming soon to dvd!!

ic: Smallpetal got up and gingerly began t owalk where she heard some noises.

ooc: I don't know.
ic: Dawnsky sat down beside Auroralight and began sharing tongues.

Auroralight shared tongue. Fireblaze smiled warmly. This is kind of life I want... No disease... No fighting... Just peace.

ravenfeather walked on, following the scent of shadows. after a while she realized that she had smelt that sent before. suddenly she felt a memmory comming on but it faded.
"wa!" she said and found a rock that she somehow remembered being thereand lifted it so the bottom was facing up. a letter R was scratched onto the bottom. this was her rock. then it all hit her.....she was at the very edge of twilightclan territory. could she have really got washed up all the way there. she then remembered that she put something under that rock long ago when she was a kit. she pawed at the ground and a ravenfeather layed in the sandy ground. it was her first feather!

Auroralight liked Dawnsky. Fireblaze liked everyone, but didn't want a mate.

Windflight wanted to become medicine cat apprentice a long time ago, so she knows her herbs really well.

ooc: Was there a cat called Windflight in Bluestar's Prophecy? Just wondered.
ic: Fireblaze cleaned himself quickly and looked up at his leader (Wait Oceanstorm is the leader now right?). Auroralight was still sharing tongues.

ooc: Yes, he was a male, though.
Bellastar isn't here, I think.
ic: Windflight looked at Oceanstorm, who was standing in for Bellastar.

ooc: We were aloud to make cats who isn't really important? Does Stormtail counts?
ic: Fireblaze looked at Windflight. Now she is much bigger then before... I never saw her so close.

ooc: Of course! Why can't we make a cat called Windflight? It's such a cool name! And, we try not to make cats whose names have appeared in books.
Windflight is called Windflight because she runs so fast, she would have been called Windstorm but Windpaw's warrior name is going to be Windstorm.
ic: My cats did stuff.

ic: Fireblaze yawned and relaxed. Auroralight relaxed too.

She would have been called Windstorm but I want Windpaw's warrior name to be Windstorm so now she's Windflight.

Smallpetal limped over to where she smelled some OceanClan cats. She saw some cats relaxing and felt awkward. "Umm..Hi. I'm from ForestClan, but can you help me?" she muttered. Then she bent her broken leg the wrong way and passed out again.

ooc: Why can't don't you think of other names? Wind is a pretty general prefix.

ooc: True, but when I made Windflight, I didn't know there was a warrior called Windflight...
ic: Windflight snapped her head around. "Where's our medicine cat?" She mewed with alarm.
Pansypaw ran over to Smallpetal. "Um... Broken leg... Er..." He looked at Seapaw. "Do you know where your herbs are? I need some horsetail and marigold!" He told him.

Smallpetal came through. Dazed, she peered at the cats around her. "Eh? You'll are OceanClan, right?" She winced. "Ow, my face hurts."

Seapaw shook his head. "Umm.. How should I know?" He muttered. Pansypaw looked at Smallpetal anxiously. "Your face hurts?" Then he looked at the sky and yowled, "Great SpiritClan, I'm just an apprentice! How should I know what to do?"

ooc: Is Seapaw a medicine cat apprentice?
ic: Firebloaze looked at Smallpetal worriedly. "You okay?" Auroralight blinked and looked at Smallpetal. "Great Spiritclan! What happened to you?"

ooc: No, but he is OceanClan.
ic: Pansypaw snarled with frustration. "You're OceanClan and you don't even know where you keep your herbs?" He snorted and stalked off.
Aurorapaw and Leafpaw looked at each other anxiously. Pansypaw never acted this way!
Seapaw stared after Pansypaw with his mouth open. "What?"

Pansypaw snorted again. He tasted the air and found the scent of herbs immediately. He followed it and found the medicine cat's den. "I'll borrow some thyme, horsetail, and marigold!" He said to no one in particular. He grabbed the herbs he needed and raced back to Smallpetal.
