Map Contest!

Now announcing the first ever.....MAP CONTEST! (And Awesomeclan contest in general)
The Map Contest is a contest in which you draw maps of the islands, territories and the overall world of Awesomeclan.
You will post the maps here below once they are all done. You can post them all together or separate.
Once the contest is done, (whenever that will be) Ice and I will judge the maps. The winner will get their map used by Awesomeclan! The other 'winners' maps will be here for all to see and admire!

Of course there is some rules and requirements:
No copying! Be orginal and don't steal other peoples ideas.
You can criticize other peoples artwork, but please be nice and positive and not all that negative.

The maps have to be accurate
There are 8 clans: Moon, Ocean and Sun on one island, Lava on the smaller one, Twilight on another one, Rain and Snow on another, Dawn on another, and then a twolegplace island. So there should be about 6 islands.

Besides that, get drawing! If you have any questions please ask me.

Yes it is.
How to put on images? Two choices.
1.
Um, so upload your picture somewhere in the web. You can use iaza.com, but all pictures are deleted after 90 days. After uploading it somewhere on the web, get the URL address of the picture and paste it in the box, then click OK.
2. Under the Post title are a bunch of buttons. Find the one that says host image. It should be the 15th button if you count from the left. Click on it, and click on browse. Find your picture, click ok, and we're done. (I think)
If there's anything else you don't get, just PM me, I suppose. :3

thanks i just wasn't sure if i could i also have clan symbols, like thunderclan is a square cat head with the lightning? Yeah, i got bored and did some of those but i couldnt figure out what to do for twilightclan... )

edit: and i dont know what snowclan territory looks like

idk what snowclan looks like either. I am guessing a lot of snow?

Yep, this contest is still going on. Sorry I have not been posting recently, I got sick and I still kinda am.

I can't wait to see your map, Willow! I will tell you what Snow looks like, when I feel a bit better. I am also going to be in the competition as well! I wonder who will win....?

Welllllllll it is a lot different from what the first map was, buuuuuuut I like it.
So I guess we will be using that map,, seeing as no one else entered into the contest.

2 things:
1. Can you combine Dawn, Twilight, Snow & Rains islands together? They are going to be their own separate group from the other clans and it is hard if they are separated

2. Can you make 3 new islands? Hawk, Eagle & Raven clan islands which is where those ancient clans use to be.

I was going to ask if we should put like all the places on the islands map, like oceanclan camp, sunclan beach, etc.

Ocean, if you wanted that, then a separate map for each island might have to be made. Or, Willow could do that thing at the bottom of a map, like a key, and put little symbols for like a camp or a beach. But that's just an idea

Its up to Willow. She, or you, or someone else, could like map a bigger map for each one of the islands, or she could do a symbol.

Whatever one is easier for her. I guess it kinda depends on what Willow wants

They are from I book I read. Eagle also knows about it, but didn't read it. Anyway, she said that she is most likely Erudite. Me too, though one of my friends said I could be Abnegation. But I won't!!!!!!
The book is called Divergent, btw.

shouldn't rain, twilight, and snow be on the same island? and then should the twoleg place be bigger and closer to the rainclan island.....

Anyway, I read the Mortal Instruments and it is AWESOME! I am on the City of Glass...hehehe.....giggle...giggle....

Anyway, I kinda agree. Rain, Snow, Twilight and Dawn should all be on the same island. But, I think the Twoleg island is fine. Just move the Ancient Clan Islands close to the other islands.

Willow, can you do those things? If not then if you want I can make my own map...maybe :S

Anyway, so this is what the map should have:
Oceanclan, Sunclan and Moonclan all on the same island
Lavaclan on its on little island, off of Oceanclan territory
Symbols marking areas in the clan territories (like camp, training hollow, etc.)
Dawnclan, Twilightclan, Snowclan and Rainclan all on the same island.
Dawnclan should be the territory closest to the Main Clan Island
A Twolegplace Island some distance away from the other islands
3 Ancient Clan Islands: Ravenclan, Eagleclan and Hawkclan.

Um, this is about maps, but not about the main maps, so I just put it here.

Should we have a map of each clans' territories? Now that the old descriptions are gone (although I love the pictures), the locations of the beach, camp etc aren't clear

Hmm....well I was thinking about that as well. Maybe we could have pictures and descriptions as well? But like shorter descriptions, though.
And I agree with descriptions of the territories. I am trying to work on various maps:
Master Map of AWCA
Map of the Islands
Map of Clan Territories (Main)
Map of Clan Territories (Side)
Map of Coastline
Map of Warrior Clan
Map of Warrior World

The maps might take some time, obviously, but I don't think the descriptions will take that long

And is there going to be a map topic, with all the maps on it? Or are you going to put like the territory map on each one of the territory subtopics, map of AWCA on the Tri forum topic, and etc?
