Oceanclan Beach

Oceanclan's Beach
A large beach that lies on the northern part of Oceanclan's territory. The beach has white sand and blue water and is very close to Oceanclan's Camp. Due to this, many cats visit the beach in their free time and go swimming and enjoy the sun. During low tide, there are many sandbars in the water which cats swim out to. The beach is also a good place to hunt, with lots of fish swimming in the waters during high tide. Across the ocean is Lavaclan's island territory.

Smallpetal slowed down as she reached the beaches, wondering where the rest of her patrol, Firestorm and Auroralight, were. She started sniffing around for traces of cats who were washed up on the shore, anyway.

Firestorm and Auroralight caught up, since they completely forgot about the patrol when Lilyfeather were kitting. They sniffed the air, aware of anything alive.

"Oh yeah! Hi! Um, did you guys find anyone yet?" Smallpetal asked, limping over to the Firestorm and Aururalight.

On the other side of the beaches, from the Tsunami camp, Stormwind trotted over to join the rescue patrol.

Firestorm shook his head sadly. "None for now, but we should keep looking!"
(I'll make one survivor.) Firestorm looked toward the sky, hoping someone had survived.

"I doubt they would come from the sky," Smallpetal mewed rudely. Then she realized, and back-pedaled a bit. "i mean, yeah, but I didn't mean it...you know," she added weakly. She broke off and looked in straight ahead to a gray figure causing a billowing cloud of sand. "Who is that?"

Stormwind ran up to the three of them, coughing from the dust he had kicked up. "Can I join the patrol?" he asked.

Robbinsong coughed out sea water, almost passing out again. Auroralight ran over to him, yowling her clanmate's name. Robbinsong opened his eyes again, seeing small figures approaching. He passed out, hoping this was a friend, not an enemy.

ooc; It's like "oh, hi Jay...." *Jay leaves* -__- lol. did that make any sense?

ic: Stormwind and Smallpetal ran over to join Auroralight. "Is that...Robinsong?" Smallpetal gasped. Stormwind was encouraged at finding a clanmate, but worried. "Come on, we better get him to the medicine cat," Stormwind ordered, "But one of us should stay here in case anyone else gets washed up."

Robinsong coughed up sea water again, still not awake. Auroralight lifted her clanmate, and mewed for a little help. Firestorm mewed. "I'll stay. And someone should help Auroralight."

"I'll go," Stormwind offered. He helped shoulder Robinsong, easy with his great strength.

"Stop showing off," Smallpetal muttered to herself. She glanced around before adding, "So should I stay here too or go help too?"

Firestorm shrugged. "maybe only two will be enough for what-ever-the-cat-is-called?" Auroralight chuckled and told him "He is called Robinsong." Auroralight turned around lightly to face Stormwind. "So we should go now?"

"Sure," Stormwind mewed. "We better get going as soon as we can. Robinsong doesn't look too good, as an understatement."

Smallpetal nodded and turned to the ocean. She wondered if any other cats would be washed up.

Firestorm walked around sniffing the air, looking for missing cats.

ic: Dayripple waited at the edge of the water, making sure his shadow wasn't over the water. His paw flashed out and pinned a trout out. He quickly killed it and started trotting back in the direction of camp. He saw Firestorm looking around worriedly. He trotted over. "You look like you could use a break," he mewed. "Here, it's still fresh." He handed Firestorm the trout.

OOC-Um just so you know, Star, there was a tsunami and the clans (Forest and Ocean) are currently lodged at the Tsunami Camp. I just want to let you know that in case you didn't know! :O

Er... Should I reply to her post or ignore it?

I guess you can reply. Let's pretend Dayripple went out on a hunting patrol or went hunting when the cats reached the new camp.

ic: Smallpetal looked into the blue ocean, the sea breeze ruffling her gray fur slightly. She intently watched the waves for any sign of a cat. Sighing, she wondered if things would ever go back to normal.

Firestorm purred. "Thanks! I was so hungry." He crouched down to eat.

Stormwind strolled towards Smallpetal, Firestorm, and Dayripple. "How's it going?" he asked.
Smallpetal hissed. "Why'd you come back?"
stormwind was shocked. "I wanted to check on you guys and then fish. There's nothing to do at the new camp, and I don't really know OceanClan territory well enough to hunt in there."
Smallpetal whispered to him, as if a secret, "But you're really bad at fishing."
Stormwind sighed patiently. "There's always room to improve," he rumbled. Then he turned his back to his sister and walked over to the ocean, politely saying a greeting to Dayripple, and then concentrating on the fish.

ic: Dayripple nodded. "Well, err...good luck!" he said. He hurried back to the shore. Maybe he could catch some more fish to bring back to camp. He caught two minnows and another trout and hurried back to camp. "Ughh!" he muttered as he dropped one of the minnows. He picked it up and hurried back to camp.

Smallpetal tried to make some conversation. "So, uh, Firestorm, how are you today?" she meowed, cursing herself for sounding so formal.

Stormwind spotted a dark, flicking shape in the water. He froze and unsheathed his claws, lowering to a crouch. When the shape got in his reach, he arched his swing and triumphantly revealed his catch....a piece of seaweed. His ears drooped but he continued trying.

Stormwind padded happily, swinging three fish from his mouth. He pointed to the four one with his tail and mumbled, "ih".
Smallpetal was irritated. "What? What did you say?" she mewed.
"Ih ih uh," Stormwind mumbled, louder.
"I'm sorry, I can't understand you," she yelled.
Stormwind rolled his eyes and pushed the fish forward with his foot. He dropped the rest, crossly meowing, "Pick up the fish already, holy SpiritClan!" He glanced at the sky. "We should get going soon, we've stayed long enough. Hey Firestorm!" he called. "Are you ready to leave now?"

Silvershadow stepped onto the Oceanclan Beach and shook the water out of his fur. He loved the ocean and was a good swimmer, so it was a surefire sign he was of Oceanclan descent. He began to walk into the Oceanclan Jungle as he looked around.

"What the-" Smallpetal looked around wildly.

"Eh?" Stormwind grunted, the fish back in his mouth.

Smallpetal sighed crossly. "Firestorm left already! Without even telling us!"

Stormwind purred. "Ih a ih? Leh o ack oo amp!" He started to run back to the tsunami camp.

Smallpetal hissed good-naturely. "I still can't understand you with the fish!" she called, picking up her share and chasing after her brother.

*Later*

Hollybell and Silvershadow had talked about all sorts of names for their kits, from Antkit to Woodkit. They then mewed their good-byes and left.

Hollybell watched Silvershadow begin the swim back to Lavaclan's island. It wasn't all that far away. She had told him about Sunclan stealing their territory and how angry everyone was about it, but because of the tsunami, they hadn't been able to do anything about it...yet. Silvershadow promised he would tell Icestar about this and the others in Lavaclan. Lavaclan and Oceanclan had been great friends from the very begginning so he promised that they would find a way to help their friend against Sunclan.
Hollybell hoped it wouldn't lead to the violence, but in the end, it usually did. She sighed and looked at her belly. She had managed to fool most of the cats in the clan that she wasn't pregnant, but with Silvershadow moving it she had to reveal her secret to the clan. She wanted Silvershadow to be their to back her up, but he had to get the news of Sunclan to Lavaclan, stat.
She didn't think it would be a big worry, though. Mates between the clans were illegal according to the Warrior Code, but, in Lavaclan and Oceanclan, these things had happened so often, they didn't even lay out punishments anymore, it was so common. Plus, their own founding leaders had been mates so, why bother?
She grinned, happily. Life was good. And with that, she turned around and headed back to Oceanclan Camp.

ooc: Olivepaw's arriving now

ic: Willowpaw and Possumpaw padded on to the beach, the sand muffling their footsteps. Willowpaw was in the middle of a story about her life in the Twolegplace. "So i grabbed the dog's muzzle, and slashed it twice across the nose with my forepaws. The dog yelped, the stupid thing, and raced away back to its Twolegs. My sister and I were so happy that we had finally gotten rid of that dog. It was a nuisance."
Possumpaw's mouth was agape. "Wow! You must have felt so awesome, just being able to get rid of that dog! Bu what happened to your sister?"
Willowpaw sighed. "When i was washed away in that tsunami, my sister was back at home. I think she might have thought i was dead. But i carried on, and survived. I just wish i could see her now...."

A smallish ginger shecat dragged herself into the forest. Those stupid Twolegs had dumped the boat on her leg! She sighed, and her ears pricked up. Was that a familiar voice over by the beach?
"Willow!" she yowled.
Willowpaw's ears pricked up. "Olive!" Willowpaw yowled, racing towards the forest. The two sisters purred, twining their tails and trying hard not to break down. Olive finally managed to choke a reply out of her mouth.
"I never stopped looking for you! Did you find those Clan- oh, hello kit. Who are you?"
Possumpaw padded out of the shadows. "I'm Possumpaw. Are you Willowpaw's sister?" she asked eagerly. Olive nodded.
"I sure am. Wilow, why did she call you Willowpaw? Are you a Clan cat now? Is that why you smell so different?"
Willowpaw sighed. "Yes, I'm a Clan cat. And my mentor happens to be my crush, too. That is REALLY not a good mix."
"Your crush! Really?"
"Yep. Being an apprentice to Oceanclan is amazing! And soo much fun, too! Olive, would you like to become a Clan apprentice too? You would be great at it!"
Possumpaw purred. "Yay! Then i would have TWO sisters to look after me!" The three shecats purred, then headed back to the Oceanclan camp.

Icestar swam across the water, arriving at Oceanclan Beach. He march across the beach, heading into the Sunclan Beach.

Dragonblaze followed Icestar. He was very calm and was ready to fight. Sunclan couldn't steal territory willnilly! And if they let it slide then they would steal more and more territory until there would be a huge war. They needed to stop Sunclan. Now.

Silvershadow was deep in thought, trying to recall all the herbs he knew. But in the back of his mind he was also thinking of what he should do about Hollybell and his soon-to-be-born kits.

Jynxshadow walked side by side with Birchflame. She was sad that they had to fight Sunclan, but they had to do it!

Plumpetal walked closely behind Jynxshadow and Birchflame. VERY closely behind.

OOC-To Sunclan Beach, then Sunclan Dunes then Sunclan Camp?

Redpaw was worried that his mentor hadn't come, but he tried to mask it behind a facade of confidence. "We're going to win! Right, Bluepaw? RIGHT? Ah-blurg," Redpaw bubbled. He hadn't even noticed that they had walked into ocean water.

Bluepaw stayed silent as Redpaw coughed fit enough to start spitting blood. Bluepaw felt a little pity at Redpaw's waterlogged face, but it disappeared as fast as when Redpaw started talking again. "I can't even smell LavaClan scent anymore," he complained when the brothers reached the shore behind Plumpetal. Bluepaw sighed.
